And bad move, Doc. One, he hated those; two, he doesn't really. Only in baseball and somewhat in football.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: OS Uni Snob Thread
See that? I can live with using it for trim. Duke basketball does it, Tennessee football used to do it. It's not my favorite thing in the world, but that's somewhat excusable. But when it's the main jersey color, that's what I have an issue with. And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

I don't know why it makes me laugh that Jordan brand makes North Texas's uniforms, but it does.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

I liked UNT's uniform when they had the black trim. Except they looked too much like Southlake-Carroll.
Also, kudos to Tracer for pulling out cross country and tennis to support his case.Boston Red Sox

Chrome helmets need to go.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Sometimes when I complain about uniforms these days I then get reminded that uniforms back in the day weren't always the greatest. Case in point, a game i'm about to watch this week:

Re: OS Uni Snob Thread
Uniform-related news. The Pirates are ditching the snarling Pirate as their main logo in favor of the gold P they use on their caps. The Pirate will remain a secondary logo though.
Pirates Ditch Pirate as Main Logo
The scowling, one-eyed buccaneer with a red bandana and a gold earring is no longer the face of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The team adopted the gold “P” emblem that adorns its hats as its primary logo, replacing the Jolly Roger pirate, the Pirates announced today. It is the first time since the 1930s that a cartoon pirate will not represent the team’s primary logo.

You need only look at my avatar to see the snarling pirate so I felt there was no need to post that as well. Though I suppose I could update my avatar to reflect the change in primary logo, though i would also have to edit the Power logo as they basically inverted their helmet colors for this season.
Disregard the #8 in the top as it is unrelated to the helmet, but rather the picture was taken from a series of facebook posts reviewing the top moments of 2013 of which this was #8.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

Re: OS Uni Snob Thread
Good move on the Pirates' part as that snarling pirate logo didn't really fit with the whole "old school" aesthetic that the current uniform set embodies. I could actually see the Pirates introducing one of the bumblebee era uniform combinations as a throwback uniform within the next couple years.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
