I get it. I definitely get it. I'm a complete and utter weather nut.

Obviously dangerous in so many ways, but its just so damn fascinating.

This was a travesty, and I caught some of it on tape. I'll upload it when I get home tonight.

Good luck tonight you're family tonight. Hopefully since it's at night it won't be as fierce, but from the data I have seen, I think it could be bad.

Thanks man. I am hoping that most of it will pass us by. You guys look to be in a good spot, unless it changes direction. Seems to be going Northeast at the moment.

Where you getting the data? I am looking here...

Go to twitter and look up wxbrad, that's brad panovich for wcnc, he does updates and will do hourly video blogs about the storm. The atmosphere over us is crazy right now and could produce tornadoes instead of weakening the storms.

Yeah careful guys, tornadoes at night are very dangerous because they are much harder to see and people might sleep through the warnings.

My hometown, Hackleburg, has been demolished. Unconfirmed reports of 26 dead. It's just a really, really bad situation especially for a town of less 1500. The school isn't there anymore & every business has damage. The biggest employer in town is completely gone. The town may never recover from this.

edit: I can't really get too much info here in Louisiana. TWC isn't saying much about Hackleburg and the phone lines are still down. What little news I am getting is from Facebook so I take it with a grain of salt. If anyone in North AL hears anything please let me know.

Very sorry to hear that man, and sorry to hear about everyone else who may have lost someone or known someone who lost someone.

Really thankful my folks came away relatively unscathed.

We're actually under watch right now here in Savannah.

Still can't believe what happened yesterday. This will be one of those days that decades from now will look back on, much like we do Super Tuesday, etc.

Death toll now to 194, 149 just in Alabama alone. Yet, if you watched the news it's barely on. Utter nonsense.

Glad to hear that you're alright though.

How about the relatives, are they okay as well?

Same here. I've been reading some of the stories online this morning, just devastating. Sending prayers of recovery and hope to all areas affected and those still in harms way.
