Personally? I think she's probably guilty. This whole story is very sad. But I can't imagine the pressure that a juror has with a person's life in their hands. How much evidence would it take for you to say "Kill her"?
They provided an alternate story, with no evidence to back it up. If she really drowned, there was no reason to make it look like murder and cover it up. If she really drowned, why was Casey out partying for a month before reporting her missing? The defense's story was full of holes and implausible, which is one reason I think she is guilty.

It is very unbecoming of you to call me arrogant and full of myself because I disagree with the jury. Just because they were on the jury doesn't insure that they will get it right. If it did, no one would ever go to jail who was wrongly accused, and no one who was guilty would ever be found not guilty.

Put up or shut up, then, right? Talk is cheap.

Of course, you won't actually do something. You'll just continue to judge another person and hope that she DIES because you read something online/saw something on TV and disagreed with a panel of 12 people and the judicial process that has been around for hundreds of years.

Oh, I guess we all missed the part where the judicial process got it right 100% of the time?

No **** I won't do anything. I'm not going to fly down to Florida. I don't have the money for that.

And um, no. I hope she dies because it's clear to me she murdered her own daughter. People who decide to do that have no place in this world IMO.

Anyways, I find it funny you're first post in this thread calls everyone who disagreed arrogant and full of themselves. Pot, meet kettle.

Irrelevant, it's not the defense's job to prove how Caylee died.

Doesnt mean that she didnt do it. It just means the jury consists of morons that believe that crap.

                        I don't think that's what he's saying, specifically.

I think he's more speaking to the fact that, while the defense presented an alternate story, it wasn't very believable and should've been torn apart by the prosecution (which they, obviously, didn't do), not that the defense didn't do enough to prove it. As you said, they don't have to...they just have to present it.

Doesn't mean we have to believe it, though...and there are too many holes in their story for me to even think it's anywhere close to the truth.

                          I agree here

I would laugh my arse off if a site like TMZ found her at a nightclub tonight with a bunch of men acting as if she was never in court to begin with.

It'd make me mad as hell and angry but it'd be funny in a "what a sick and twisted world we live in" way.

It's not irrelevant, because if you're trying to convince a jury that she wasn't murdered, you should have a plausible story of how it happened. Other than the defense attorney saying it, there was no evidence or witnesses who even mentioned drowning as a possibility. We will likely never know if the jury believed she drowned, or if they just had reasonable doubt that Casey murdered Caylee. Nothing that I saw, however, led me to believe the defense's story was even plausible.

They should ask OS to be the jury on every major case. We'd get it right all the time.
