Oh, I'm not blaming anybody. I'm merely saying that I would trust Rachael Ray with making an unknown recipe over me, even if we're both just reading the cookbook. I wasn't saying they were unqualified. In fact, I'm someone who is glad that she was found not guilty. Not that I believe that she was, but having a hint of doubt that she didn't kill her daughter myself, I couldn't possibly have the nerve to allow someone go in jail if they are possibly innocent.

So much for the offer from Vivid, its already been withdrawn due to the overwhelmingly negative response it received.

The general porn-watching public wants "nothing to do" with Casey Anthony ... so says XXX kingpin Steve Hirsch ... who has officially WITHDRAWN his porno offer to the exonerated 25-year-old.

The general porn-watching public wants "nothing to do" with Casey Anthony ... so says XXX kingpin Steve Hirsch ... who has officially WITHDRAWN his porno offer to the exonerated 25-year-old.

Hirsch -- who reached out to Anthony's lawyer yesterday in the hopes of landing a deal -- has now reversed course ... telling TMZ, "It has become obvious to us that Vivid fans, and people in general, want nothing to do with her and that includes a XXX movie."

Hirsch explains, "We were ready to make an offer to Casey to star in one of our feature films. It's clear to me now, however, that there has been an overwhelmingly negative response to our offer and so we've decided to withdraw it."

He adds, "We now believe that we underestimated the emotional response that people are having to the verdict. A movie starring Casey Anthony is not what people want to see."

Hah I knew Vivid would offer her work but at least the porn watching world rightfully gave Vivid and Hirsch an earful. I would imagine such a production would lead so the kind of publicity that would do more harm than good.

Absolutely. My 16-month-old son is my world and if he was missing for 20 minutes, I'm reporting it. Any parent who loves their child would do the same thing. 31 days. Partying during the month when your child "drowned." Getting tattoos days after that said, "Beautiful Life."

No sane parent acts this way.

I don't care what the jury says. In my mind, she's guilty. I know my opinion means nothing but I believe she'll give an account of what she did to her daughter one day.

I still think someone will offer up a book deal. As much as negativity will swirl around the book like OJ's, it still presents an opportunity to for someone or some publisher to get their name out. We all know negativity sells more than anything positive in this country. Just like the dude who tried to sell a book about how to properly molest children. Anything and I mean ANYTHING is possible in todays age.

There are six major publishers who are (small) parts of the six major media conglomerates that own them...

I don't see a scenario where the shareholders and board members of these corporations are going to risk an across the board backlash to gain the kind of minimal POTENTIAL profit that may be generated by a book of this nature...

This thread itself, shows how passionate people are about this subject, and I doubt that FOR INSTANCE:

CBS is going to let ad revenue drop on it's daytime (soap opera) programming because housewives are protesting a book that it's publishing arm (like a Simon & Shuster) decided to release...

I doubt that celebrities associated with CBS' TV or music divisions would let this go by without incident...

                                Etc.

As I originally claimed, there's no way a major publisher (i.e. an actual legit presence in the marketplace) can act independently of the monolithic corporate structure that it's part of...

Too much risk, too little POTENTIAL (certainly not guaranteed) reward...

Didn't fly for THESE EXACT REASONS re: OJ...

And what he may (or may not) have done is nowhere near as universally reviled as what she may (or may not) have done...

Folks make jokes about wackin' the ex...

Kids are, and always will be, "off limits"...

                                IMHO, of course...
