Yeah, yeah... It's just the world we live in.
I think at the end of the day, everyone except Caylee and the state of Florida wins here.

Baez, Mason, the entire defense team will now make mega bank due to public appearences, talk shows, books, media, movies etc...

Casey, Cindy, George and Lee go right back to where they were at, accept with millions in cash offers for exclusive book / media rights.

State of Florida loses millions in taxes due to the cost of the trial, of which the state paid for her defense through the use of the JAC since she was declared indigent.

All the witnesses, jurors, etc will make their media appearances and make good cash.

Talk shows, news shows, tabloids etc will make bank running stories about this for a year or so...

Everyone but Caylee profits here....very sad day indeed.

She didnt work for years before she even went to jail. She has already been paid 200k by Disney for exclusive rights to some Caylee photos, in which she failed to pay 67k in taxes to the IRS...but it doesnt matter since she is a semi decent looking female.
Bingo, she has relied on her looks until now....those will fade and she will have nothing. Better call Vivid and get to shooting those pornos asap...

I think you guys are missin my point, no doubt she will get paid, especially in the short term...but with her lifestyle she will burn through the money in no time. Hell, with her lifestyle getting paid big probably means she will end up in an OD type situation. This assumes she doesn't change her ways of course but from what i have read of her she is a train wreck waiting to occur..

My money is she is either dead or a crack whore in 15 years or so..

I still don't know how she didn't get convicted on some sort of child abuse/neglect charge. I mean, I hear stories of people leaving there kid only for 8 hours getting charged and she didn't report her child missing for 31 days?

The prosecution got played by Baez. Plain & Simple. Reasonable Doubt was his ace in the hole. He used it masterfully.

Re: Casey Anthony Found Not Guilty

I was listening to the local radio here in Houston this morning and they were talking to Casey's mothers cousin (or second cousin), who lives in the Houston area, and I found the interview to be somewhat interesting.

She didn't get into any details, but said that through the entire trial she thought Casey was guilty as well as did Cindy's (Casey's mom's) entire side of the family.

However, yesterday after the verdict, that entire side of the family got together and apperantly something was revealed that she said proved the defenses story of what happened (that Caley drowned and that the father was somewhat involved). She didn't go into specifics, but said that after that, there was no doubt in her mind that Casey was innocent and that her father was just as involved in the whole thing as she was.

Again, no specifics, but my take from it was that according to them, it was an accidental death that they tried to cover up and they received some sort of proof that proved this to them beyond a reasonable doubt.

They also said that it was likely that Casey and her mother would be staying in the Houston area to get away from the circus of media that would follow them in Florida.

I didn't follow the case that much but was kinda surprised by the verdict. I guess the state didn't do enough to remove a reasonable doubt. Our justice system is set up to prevent innocent people being put in jail on circumstantial evidence. Sadly, sometimes it will let seemingly obviously guilty persons go free.

No man-made justice system will be perfect.

Yeah, this is the way it goes. For everytime it does work, there are a bunch of other cases where it doesn't because it's impossible to 100% prove it even if it's 95% sure.

Nothing this family has said has been true. George lied, Cindy lied, Lee lied, ...everyone lied about darn near everything in this case. Every Anthony on the stand with the exception of Lee had their testimony impeached.

Nothing this family says is to be believed, period.

Yup...it's like finding which government official stole money when they all did it and point fingers at each other. By the time you figure out who is blaming who you get confused and don't care anymore. In the end, the whole dang family will have some money out of this and the dad will be divorced from the mom.

She'll be set free tomorrow. Maybe a fine.

Agreed, max penalty is 1 year per charge or 4 years total but shes already served 3 years as it is. I figure she might get 6-9 months per or a total of 2-3 years but with time served she walks.
