Did anyone see the Belvedere vodka ad posted on twitter? They have recently issued an apology for offending people.

EDIT: I can't believe how bad Duke's basketball program has gotten. I hope they get out of their downward spiral soon.

-15 wins in the regular season, lose first playoff game.

-Lose in the NLCS to your bitter rival who you beat for the division in the regular season.

-Lose in the Rose Bowl... again... after losing twice on hail mary's during the season.

-Lose by 1 to a Syracuse team that you probably should've beaten on that day.

-First place in the entire NHL in December, fighting for a top 5 draft pick in March.

If we're playing the suffering game, I feel like I've got a pretty good case in the Non-Cleveland, Non-Cubs Fan division.

I will always argue that being really good and then failing hurts more than just being outright bad or irrelevant. So, imo, the Packers and Badgers are each worse than what the Redskins and Miami did to you. I mean, suspension or not, Miami probably wasn't going anywhere in football or basketball anyways.

That said, the Braves thing beats me. I won't argue that.

I'd rather the Redskins make the playoffs every year and lose than have them win 15 games over 3 years. But I guess when they finally start having success again(both the Redskins and Miami) it will probably be sweeter than if they were always already successful, but finally pulled through at the end, ie: the "Worst to 1st" season would always feel 100x better than if the Braves won the WS after last season.

I think Detroit/Michigan sports have been doing well so I'm not a candidate.

Pistons: although they suck, Greg Monroe falling to their laps 2 drafts ago, plus Brandon Knight last draft & the emergence of Stuckey have the team going in the right direction.

Wings: have been a perennial contender for like 20 years & have arguably the best player in the sport (Datsyuk) and a solid young "on the rise" goalie. (current winless streak notwithstanding)

Tigers: Big offseason & I believe the Vegas odds favorite to win the WS. This would've been a woe is me situation after Martinez got hurt, but then came Prince.

Michigan Basketball: Heartbreaking loss to Ohio in the tourney, but a good season overall and lots to build on, plus a top 5 big man coming in next year and very good class overall.

Michigan Football: Rich Rod is gone.

                        Lions: Matt Millen is gone.

I think being Royals, Pirates, Orioles, Browns, etc. bad is worse, but if your thinking is the case I present:

                          Exhibit A

And this one isn't about a good team, but its still bull****
                          Exhibit D

                          Exhibit E

The Lions were actually a plus this season. Just waiting on how the Gators Basketball season ends. If positive, I will belay all complaints until the Rangers break my heart in a third straight World Series.

Maybe it's just me, but when a team of mine sucks from the beginning I have low expectations for each game(don't get pissed at loss and enjoy wins).

With a good team I get pissed off at every loss and even some wins if they play terribly. Then when you get in a playoff situation and lose you have to be reminded of it for the entire offseason.
