Well I believe it was because we didn't clean out the ashes in the fire pit out back, and because there were socks on a shelf next to the dryer. Mind you, these things don't happen on a frequent basis. These are first time offenses. I'm actually very quiet and keep out of the way. She actually used that against me, saying I didn't wanna be part of the family or whatever. Can't win with this lady.

Yes. Trivial if ever there was such a thing.

When we went to talk to her a day later and she asked me if she asked me to clean out the pit, I said point blank no you did not. She flipped her ****, called me a smartass liar, etc told me to get the F off her property. I just left quietly. I wasn't gonna get pulled into her games. And she's called us the drama starters! Me and my fiancé never create or are involved in drama. For the record, I had originally brought up the idea of needing to clean the fire pit, but was never asked to do it myself, which I would've explained is how it happened but she was too busy throwing a temper trantrum for me to elaborate.

Now 3 days later she's still insisting I apologize. Yeah, fat chance. My fiancé actually said she won't let me just give in and apologize like I typically would because we all know her Mom needs to finally take the blame for what she created.

Basically she dared us to get out, and we did. Now she has to walk to work and is out almost a grand a month. I have no sympathy. We're extremely lucky my dad was generous and understanding enough to take us in while our apartment situation gets set up. If not, we would've been on the street. That doesn't sit well with me, that she decides to take all her anger and stress out on us and just like that we're homeless. I don't play that game, sorry.

I just feel like you guys are over stating it.

There are a lot of outdoorsmen, women, and hunters around here and none of them ever bitch about the cold, especially when they're up before day light and out in the woods.

I'm not sure how the people around Birmingham are, though. I'm from the country.. people react differently to things.

We adapt to whatever weather comes and go on about our lives. The heat, cold, whatever won't stop me from doing anything.

I like both the Winter and Summer equally. The winter gives you a good excuse to build a fire and drink some good whisky and the summer provides great weather for being on the lake and drinking rum and beer

We've seen some 50s this year and I have still been in shorts and a shirt and have yet to think about getting a jacket out. I'll reserve that for the 45 and below range.

Yeah, but the media doesn't cover that or anything. A hurricane heading up North and you'd swear the media acts like a Category 1 or TS is going to destroy everything in it's path

Bull****. When it snowed down here in 2010, that was what led off the news, and you could sweep it up.

Please, we in the North, or at least in the great lakes, know how to handle any type of weather.

Rain and wind? Check.

Tornadoes? Check.

Snow? Check.

Extreme heat? Check.

Unless there is a giant hurricane, we are cool.
