I too had a Charlotte Hornets starter jacket!

I had the first pair of Nike pumps on my block.
I also remember everybody doing the 2 Legit 2 Quit hand signs on the playground...ahhhh MC Hammer.

1. towel coats with air brushed disney characters. If you were from Chicago and was in high school during the late 80s through the early 90s, you had one if you wanted to be cool.

2. Fubu, platinum fubu

4. Coogi

5. Kross Colors

6. Corn rolls

7. Duke wave kit

8. Finger waves

9. Red monkey clothes. You were a straight baller if you could afford these clothes, pair pants was a $100, t-shirt was $50

10. Crucial Conflict, Do or Die, Twista, Psycho Drama. You couldn't say you were from Chicago if you didn't own those tapes and bunped it in your car every day LOUD during the early 90s.

11. Chevy Caprice with duals, 12 inch subwoofers in the trunk sitting on some 20's with the metalic paint job.

12. Getting graphics cut into the back of your hair of your favorite cartoon character or sports team logo.. Lord have mercy if you went to the south side with a bugs bunny logo or to the westside with a pitch fork cut into your hair. They would have stomped the brakes off of you.

13. Black & milds.......People use to buy that by the case up in high school.

14. Herring bone gold chains. Seemed like every dude with some type of money had one around their neck in 80s and early 90s in Chicago.

15. Gumbo hair cut

16. High top fade like Kid use to have from Kid n Play

17. Gold watches.....hell just wearing a crap load of gold. People over dosed on gold during the 80s and early 90s.

18. Spinners........

19. Late 90s....... Suburban. Dudes would buy one and put 6 tv's up in there, but yet they lived in an apartment building.

20. Members Only jacket.

21. Goose down and triple phat goose coats.

22. Gluing rhinestones to your hat that spelled out your nickname

23. Changing your beeper case to match the color of your outfit.

24. White T's

25. Rocking your favorite NBA player college jersey.

26. Rocking negro league jerseys & caps. Kids in school use to be clueless and say what team is that ?

27. Rocking throw back jerseys.

Starter jacket and Zubaz pants brought back some memories.

I had a Cleveland Browns starter jacket and a pair of Dallas Cowboys Zubaz (was a big time bandwagon Cowboys fan in my youth).

Also had a pair of Jnco's lol, those pants were ridiculous looking back.

1. c.1990 t-shirts/shorts that had the appearance of a second shirt of pair of shorts being worn underneath with slightly longer sleeves/legs that were of a different color.

2. c.1995 There was a line of shirts that had different saying on them but the lettering was made to look blurry.

Frosted tips. The boy bands of the 90s had preppy white guys dying the tips of their hair blonde. I'm very thankful I stayed away from that one.

More recently, popped collars. I never understood that one, either.

I remember when I was in elementary school in the early 90's that everyone had snap braclets.

Late 90's EVERYONE had South Park shirts.
