Blood everywhere i'm jumping up and down in pain(almost jumped into traffic), running home with a blood shirt all around my thumb. Had to get like 7 stitches.

Those scooters are dangerous, when you ride barefoot.

I still have a scar on my foot, where I was riding in the basement and hit a snag and sliced that baby open.... that's one of those cuts you can't forget.

Getting slapped in the shin was always fun too with that aluminum deck. Can't help but laugh when it happened

Scooters were for wimps and people who couldn't learn to skateboard.

Even the scooter video game was terrible:

Nah, they were for kids... who likes to ride anything.

I've had 4 & 3 wheelers, dirtbikes, bicycles, scooters, and skateboards..

Skateboarding was the big thing, when I first entered high school. We used any excuse we could to meet up and skate.

I'm old, so most of these I'm not sure you'll recognize:

Cell phone fad (before everyone including the homeless could own one), choose brick, car-only, briefcase phone, or flip! Here's the brick.

Feathered hair in the late 70's and early 80's:

Cabbage Patch kids (creepy to me):

Boom boxes, I had a couple like this one, and even bigger that I was able to take to high school every day and play it in the halls between classes and stuff:

                    Frankie Goes to Hollywood shirts:

                    I'm sure I can do quite a few more...LOL

Speaking of phones, I was shocked to see this in a store the other day

I guess kids these days rarely experience an old wired phone anymore

That cabbage patch kid reminded me of something. My lil bro would hate to know I'm puttin him out there like this but oh well. He used to love his My Buddy. I still tease him about how he played with that doll. My lil sister had the Kid Sister. She cut the hair off and tried to draw makeup on with marker, that was one scary *** looking doll by the time she got finished with it.

                        PS: You guys are great.

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Haha. I remember when my mom bought each of those for my sister and me. I used to beat up My Buddy with a baseball bat. That thing went through some hard times.

Unfortunately in Vermont, a lot of guys and women still wear the feathered hair.
