That is straight nuts!!! If they were egging they had to be younger teenagers right?? Did you get a good look at them?

The police and I both feel that they were teenagers that borrowed their parents minivan. The police also believe that the parents are hiding the van.

        Oh man...prayers/well wishes your way.

Like it was said earlier, if the law doesn't get em then karma will.

Anybody that can do that to another person isn't human, they're scum and should live the rest of their life in a cage (if they're even worthy of that)

          My prayers are with you.

I had something similar happen to myself when I was younger, but my injuries weren't as bad as yours. I wish you a healthy and speedy recover. Hopefully these people will be caught and punished to the fullest extent.

Plate numbers? Paint chipped off on you? Damage to the van? We have some people from the Toronto area... Maybe they can help.

Yeah, the got chips off my cloths and have identified the make, model, and the year of the minivan. Unfortunately, I did not get the licence plate number. I'll ask my wife the details off the van and post it later. I recommend Googling "teacher egged", the amount of news coverage had been crazy.

I have to go now, I have Physio.

The obvious "people" would seem to be Kids from your school. Maybe they were pissed at you for getting on them in class or giving them a failing grade?

I would think the cops are looking at that.

The police looked into, but I am 100% sure it was not kids from my school. I truly believe that it was a random act.

I would agree with you if this had just been the accident, but the Egging of your house seems to be a little more pre determined.

You may be right, however I would be heart broken if it was. How many kids are going to egg their physed teachers window?

First, really sorry to hear this situation, but I love your positive attitude so far. Seeing the website, etc, it's clear that you're an athletic and competitive person, and that mentality will help you through what is probably the most challenging situation of your life right now.

In regards to the quoted comment above... unfortunately, a lot of kids would do that. Hell, I remember some of the idiots I went to high school with doing things like that, thinking it would be funny to screw with teachers who they had differences with. It's tough to accept (and as a soccer coach in both club and high school, I know how it feels) but not every student will like you, and worst case, they lash out when they can't control their emotions and accept responsibility for being disciplined.

Whoever did this, students or not, I hope they're caught and punished accordingly, and as adults.

That just pisses me off. So the parents are probably hiding the van rather than teaching their kids a lesson about taking accountability for their actions?!?!

That just makes me sick to the pit of my stomach.

BTW I agree with the sentiment that sadly, it very well may be kids from your school.

Re: Attempted murder with a minivan, that broke my back and left me paralyzed.

Firstly, whomever was stupid enough to do this (as well as their ill intentioned "parents") is not going to smart enough to have it continue to go undetected forever...

Someone in the area is already grappling with the moral and ethical guilt of "dropping a dime" on the situation...

The more your story continues to be in the public eye, the faster that will happen...

Still doesn't get you back to 100%, but I have a feeling that whatever the outcome, you'll turn into a life long resounding positive...

                                Stay strong, stay the course...

                                EDIT:

                                Just saw this on AOL:

                                http://autos.aol.com/article/video-e...6pLid%3D165096

                                Egging?

                                Really?
