This breaks my heart sir and my prayers for a speedy, full recovery and mental strength is certainly going up.

I was going to donate but decided to hold off until I can ask my fraternity (Freemason) if they would also like to donate. We have a meeting session with several key people out of the loop but once they return I will see what we can do.

As for your fraternity, my Grandfather was a 3rd degree Master Mason of the Blue Lodge. I hope I got that right! He left me his Masonic ring when he passed, because I liked the way the square and compass looked.

I have just read this. I'm truly sorry for what happened to you. I had to read all the way to the last post to see how your ability to walk is coming along. I'm happy that it's getting better and better.

I do hope the police will find those who are responsible for this.

Just read this, and I wish you a speedy recovery. I'm sorry that I can't offer any donations, but I will keep you in my prayers. I don't know how anyone can attempt to kill a random person and still be called a human.

Hang in there Mike24 and keep your faith. I'm praying and trusting that the LORD above bring you though all this. No doubt in my mind he will.

I pray that those responsible for this cowardly act will find something in there heart to come forward and hold themselves accountable.

I took actual unassisted steps on land this week. It was very difficult, especially since it was video taped by 4 news stations. I'm done with interviews. I have nothing else to say about the incident. At least I do not think I do. That being said, the reporters and cameramen were very nice.

Thanks gentlemen. I'm progressing well. My release date is now July 10th. By then I hope to be walking indepently. Muscle weakness is hard to overcome when it is coupled with nerve damage.
