No, tmagic is correct, it is milk derived. There are other protein supplements though like hemp, rice, pea, soy, etc.

Yeah I typically do the same. Instead of throwing out videos (which I did here lol) I usually just share my views on the whole cruelty to animals thing, mention a few health benefits, and encourage them to try it for 3 days. Some take to it, some don't.

What is surprising is my energy and strength levels have improved since doing the diet. I thought I couldn't maintain my workouts but I actually do more now than ever before.
I just used your post to try and convince my mom to go vegan lol.

I've found cold Turkey to be the easiest method. Most people like to delay things, only to delay them again. Once you get over that initial hump, you're good to go.

Tbh, it depends on how creative you are. What I do, is take "normal meals" and "veganize" them. You have vegan burgers and fries, vegan hot dogs, tofurky, chik'un strips, etc.

Well when I say animal cruelty, I don't mean JUST because they are locked in cages, and abused etc, I mean killing them at all. Murder of a person is perfectly illegal, as is cannibalism, yet we can go out and decide what can, and can't live another day, as long as it's not human?

I respect your dietary decision but I will firmly say that OS is not the place for that discussion.

You are cool man. I meant to respond sooner. Myself, I would not kill an animal unless I absolutely had to, as in it was a matter of safety or survival for me, a fellow human, or my two pet cats. I am honestly not a fan of hunting or the culture that surrounds it, however decent arguments can be made for hunting certain animals in certain areas to prevent overpopulation and greater overall damage to the ecosystem. I really need to read more about it.

                                Re: Anyone here Vegan?

I went vegetarian for a few weeks in the past, for me it wasn't hard at all. My problem with being vegan is that it takes time to prepare meals, sometimes it costs more, and there aren't many vegetarian/vegan restaurants around. As a college student, it's just cheaper and faster for me to put something is the microwave or go to a fast food place.
