I mean, you're not just some random guy posting this, so I'm inclined to believe it, but the whole situation just doesn't make any rational sense.Ryan Spencer

Re: Receiving Free Games????
I dunno FLIGHT...this doesn't smell very good to me, despite how sweet this is right now.
I don't like that he's got your address and sending you stuff that will add up to hundreds of dollars if he keeps it up.
I'm not so concerned about the legality of it so much as the possible mental stability that might be on the other end. Or that a favor might be expected/demanded down the road, despite your attempts to stop or question this.
It's just too weird. Too weird to even be straight up, eccentric generosity.

I agree with this. Its not a random act of kindness because he's sending you multiple copies of the same game. He's profiting from doing this some way some how. I'd ask for an explanation why he's doing it, if he doesn't provide a reasonable answer I would tell him to stop.
Understand personally I think this is the dumbest/Goofiest/thing I've eve been associated with.
I'm currently sitting with a few fellows and they can't believe the email that I've sent and then the responses from this guy and they pretty much agree with me.

Re: Receiving Free Games????
Is it possible that this may not be the owner of the business, but a disgruntled employee who his ripping off his employer? It doesn't make sense why anyone would send you multiple copies of the same game for free. If you really want to cover your butt, just ship the extra copies to me and I will properly dispose of them for you.Comment

Re: Receiving Free Games????
When you told him you didn't want the games anymore were you stern with him?
I would say something like "I don't know what you are trying to pull here but please stop sending me games immediately or I will be forced to report you."
Unless of course you don't really want him to stop. If you already did that then I would consider an option where you could have anything sent to you by him returned. Not sure how you do that though.
My biggest concern is the fact that he has your address and just won't stop when asked. I mean there has to be some benefit to him by doing this. And I am sure its shady because I can't think of any other reason. I am paranoid by nature, so if this were me I wouldn't want this guys stuff anywhere near me. No way this guy is just doing this out of pure altruism.Comment

Re: Receiving Free Games????
Did this initially and made it very clear that i didn't want any games but yet they continued to come. Asked him in detail what was going on and even told him he made a mistake and he replied that it was not a mistake. How much clearer can I be? Again if he keeps sending them it's his loss and stupidity.

Re: Receiving Free Games????
Flight, did you call his video store man and ask to talk to the guy directly? Are the games coming from your state or are they from another state?Comment

Re: Receiving Free Games????
Me personally, I would say my piece of "stop sending me this". Then if it continued I would say "his loss, my gain". I have no knowledge of it being stolen, I have paid for games in the past from him legally, and last I covered my butt by telling him to stop and he refused.
If he chose to continue then so be it. I am also not a paranoid type of person either. He show up on my door step and we might have a little problem though.

I'm not sure why everyone is worried about having his address.... That information is incredibly easy to find. It's certainly not a social, dl number or even dob
