Not a parent myself, but I sent a text to my brother for him to hug his kids for me. I don't know what I would do if something like this happened to them.

This realization is a punch in the stomach for me. Gut wrenching.

So, so awful. 11 days before Christmas. I'm thousands and thousands of miles away from this tragedy but I still just called home to make sure my boy got home from school okay.

Tribe 1 just mentioned to go hug your kids and tell them you love them. I would also add, hug and say I love you to your mother's, father's brothers, sisters, etc. You can never say it enough.

Unbelievable senseless act of violence.

My prayers are with all the families affected and to you 24th as well. I pray from the bottom of my heart that your family made it out safe.

I don't care what prior confrontation there was, the fact that these two man were able to pull the trigger aimed at innocent children is probably the most heinous thing I could possibly think of. There has to be seriously something mentally wrong with those two men. I hope they both rot in hell.

I have 3 little siblings, two of which are still in elementary. If this were to ever to happen to them, there would be no remorse in the acts I would commit to harm these two men.

Makes me sick.

This whole thing is just sickening and maddening and the news coverage is not helping either.

Thoughts and prayers to everybody there and everybody's families. Its bad enough losing a young child. I can't even imagine losing one this way.
