Eh, that's not a complete stretch but the digital footprint of FB pages before the events even occurred is what stuck out to me. And that one guy who took the children in to his house, his story changed up from a bus driver to a random person, who just let these kids go with this stranger. And the whole FEMA just happens to be in the area running these very specific drills... So many coincidences. It just smells to me. Admittedly, I haven't researched myself, and I know these theorists have their own points to prove, but some of this stuff... It's just very disheartening.

The one thing I wish people would quit bringing up is the "assault rifle in the trunk".

The weapon pulled out of the trunk was a shotgun, and you can tell in the video that it was.

Yeah that one was stupid. It was clearly a shotgun.

They were pages for one topic and the creator changed it to a sandy page.

Snopes has a good point-by-point breakdown. A majority of the points made in the video(s) have been debunked, the main ones up for debate still appear to be the more subjective ones (ie. "his behavior is bizarre")
A video supposedly documenting that the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School were a staged hoax is full of misinformation.

In regards to the bolded, this is what they said:
Connecticut's Division of Emergency Services and Public Protection, under the Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (DEMHS), did offer a FEMA course in "Planning for the Needs of Children in Disasters" on the day of the Sandy Hook shooting. However, the supposed suspiciousness of this coincidental timing is lessened when one considers that this very same course was offered a total of six times in various parts of the state on different days throughout November and December 2012.

Wait, so people seriously believed that one of the "fake victims" would accidentally take pictures with the president and then accidentally release those pictures online?

Honestly, most of those claims didn't even really need to be debunked. Most of them were based on what was already known to be false information.

Agreed. That one was probably the most hilarious of all. But yeah, I thought it was pretty clear that the bulk of the points in the video were jumping on shoddy journalism (reporting too quick before all the facts are in), viewer subjectivity, or complete reaches. Still didn't stop people from going crazy on facebook for a day, though.
