I love that movie.

Reminds me of Little League All-Stars. We lost in the State Championship two years in a row (to go to Regionals in Indiana, I believe they were) to a team who's pitcher was 6'2'' or 6'3'' when he was 11/12. We played well enough to win - he didn't give up a run but neither did we so we took it to extra innings but a few coaching errors lost us the game. It was heartbreaking.

He ended up being a 3rd round pick for the Mariners, but he flamed out.

My buddy got revenge in high school though. They played in the all-star game our Senior year. He K'ed him twice and bombed a double off him.

I was watching that game. He hit a pitch about 350 feet. Then the pitcher that gave it up started crying.

They also showed a picture of the pitcher and batter from that picture standing next to each other. The batter is about 4'6".

I saw the game too. I couldn't care less about LLWS but I'm powerless against Michigan sports in any capacity.

When that dude came out my jaw dropped and I headed straight to google. It was funny seeing his hat fly off after practically every pitch he threw.

The picture of him and the 4'6" kid was hilarious. I really wanted the Chicago team to light that kid up and pull off the comeback, but alas.
