Saturday was the first day I've eaten fast food in nearly two years (not counting vacation stops). Oh how I missed you Chick Fil A milkshake.

You go through the whole shake thinking about how wonderful life is.

They have peach for a limited time. Might be a reason to go back. Plus, I'm still craving waffle fries.

Boston Market is so nasty to me......lacks flavor big time to me. Only thing I get from taco bell are their chalupas and their grillers.

I've never ate at an official Boston Market restaurant, but their frozen meals are great. I practically live off of them being a college student and all. I just go to Kroger's and load up on them.

The added saliva is probably the healthiest aspect of the taco.

I never worked in fast food but I can say in 20 years of food service I've only witnessed two incidents in which someone messed with someone else's food. The places I come from you were taught young, you don't **** with the integrity of the food. Ever.

Messing with someone's food, regardless of how much you don't like them, is a cowardly piece of **** move, IMO.

In my three years of working fast food in HS, I never saw anyone mess with food and nothing left my window that I didn't feel good about.

If something hit the floor, it hit the trash.

When I worked at Carvel for a bit we kept the ice cream scoops in these little water things right behind the ice cream. This lady threw a freaking tantrum because the water wasn't crystal clear(usually it's changed every few hours as it takes a few minutes).

Still looking for a summer job. The crappiest part about it is how NOBODY calls you back.

Just went answered a want ad in the paper last week. Went in there and talked to the owner (mid 30's gal) last week on Tuesday.

It's a magazine place, essentially a telemarketing job, except they don't do cold calls. Only calling people who already have magazines with them, and either renewing or updating information and what not. Base pay is $8/hr but you get a $5 bonus each time you make a "sale". She said it's not actually a "sale" in the real sense of the word, it's a little different, but she said she'd give me more info on that later. She also told me that everyone who currently works there made between $200 and $400 dollars in bonuses each pay period last month. Which averages out to $10-$15/hr

So, it wouldn't be a bad gig for a summer job. 30 hrs a week, Sun-Thurs. 3PM-9PM. Fridays and Saturdays off, AND a set schedule? As someone who worked at a grocery store for 5 years (the only job I've ever had) that is AWESOME.

Wow, I'm rambling. Lol.

Anyways, last week on Tuesday she said she'd call me back early next week and (GASP!!!) she actually called me back today. Interview there on Wednesday

To keep (possibly) good job related posts on a streak, Fred Meyer just called me about a job for an application I put in last night. Gotta go in on Thursday after class.
