Everywhere I've looked wants a co-signer. I don't want to apply for too many because your credit score takes a hit each time you do.

No it doesn't and that is such an overblown myth.

If you apply for credit 20 times in a short period, yes, it could hurt it.

Once here and there does no damage.

Each and every time? Not true at all.

Read a story on ESPN just now about Riley Cooper where they used "The N-Word"

Reminds of the Louis C.K. bit about The N-Word. Something along the lines of:

"I hate The N-Word. And not... The N-Word, I mean the phrase 'The N-Word'. That's just white people getting away with saying it. I hear some white lady on CNN say 'The N-Word', and everyone knows what she's talking about. But now you're making me say it in my head, why don't you say it!"

My expected fair share was enough to cover tuition when I was in undergrad and I still got substantial loan offers, which I used some of it because the interest rate wasn't too bad. My tuition was a lot larger too. I don't know there formula or anything so tuition of $4500 may get you nothing and tuition of $25000 still gets you something.

Watched episodes 1-7 and this morning I was cussing my phone. I almost slung it through the window. 24 is an addicting show.

I almost want to hide in a car and watch an episode on my phone.

There needs to be a single dedicated thread for dealing with him/relationship advice. This way, we don't see a new one pop up every few days, and these youngsters can skim through there to pick up some pointers.

Most of the time they know what they need to do too, but they are struggling with the reality of their situation and need someone to help convince them. It happens I guess. Its been years since I was in HS (only 6, but still). I'm a lot wiser at 23.

Yeah. You're still young enough to well know how powerful that 'relationship high' can be, too. It really does cloud your judgement in most cases about what's best for you, or the other party. It can be so powerful that you literally can't see straight.

Love, especially new love, really is a form of insanity. If you think about it, you can see it. Look what people have done for it.

I typically give good advice and know the right things to do, but I'm not perfect. I caught a serious case of puppy love with that Navy girl I was dating. I guess there are worse things to catch. The timing of that whole thing sucked, but I never would have met her if it wasn't for the Navy. I received a letter from basic from her a few days ago. I think its cool she still wanted to stay in touch however we can.
