Not even finished with week one and the NFL game threads are as entertaining as ever. Be it a fan abandoning all reason and logic to convince others why his team did not deserve to lose a game or catching feelings because another poster cracked jokes about his favorite team or player.
We've even seen two long time posters banned. Good times!Comment

I'm surprised Netflix doesn't have Crocodile Dundee or Robocop up on streaming at least. I'm sure that'll change with the latter in about a year.
No big plans for me tonight. I'll be watching MODERN (I classify modern as 1995 and up) movies all this week. The first film is probably one you've never heard of though called Emperor starring Tommy Lee Jones.
So far i've got the movies all lined up with one other one that may not be widely known. (a Nicholas Cage direct to DVD release called Frozen Ground) I figure I should at least spotlight a modern flick every Monday on my blog from now on. I don't care if no one reads it as I view it as my movie diary.
I could've put all this in the movie thread but this isn't strictly a review sooo it's kinda off topic

The beginning of 'Up!' and 'Jersey Girl' were difficult for me because the montages in both films were so moving that I was a little worked over for the rest of the film (especially 'Jersey Girl'...probably because it didn't have a talking dog in it which I thought was ****ing hilarious).

I used to LOVE the sammiches at QFC deli in Seattle area. They are now owned by the Kroger group, I think?
Mmmmm....fresh turkey sammich on whole wheat, cheddar, real pickle slices, fresh lettuce and tomato, mayo/mustard, salt/pepper. SOOO good.
Matched with a bad of Tim's Cascade Sea Salt & Vinegar chips and a bottle of root beer. Nothin' finer for lunch.GO 'HAWKS!

I even tried some General Tso's (sp) today and it was good.. much better than the local chinese place. You just can't get good "American Chinese" around where I work. There's a place in my hometown that is THE ****.. just awesome.
They cook it to order and cook it in an open kitchen visible from the counter. Always have a high health score and the food is delicious.Comment

I think I'm officially becoming a Sony fan after spending more time with the PS3 over my 360. There is just little things I'm noticing that I like more than Xbox.
1) After being away from the Xbox live interface, oh my do I like PS3's soo much better. Not as cluttered and ad riddled as the 360 version is.
2) Chat message interface is much better on ps3. Its faster and I like how you can send a message in a game yet still see whats going on in back ground.
3) PS+ is amazing enough said!!
4) D-pad is so much better on PS3.
Now I had a PS3 for years and years but never really used it very often since I only played my 360. PS3 was just for movies and netflix. Well after selling my xbox and going strictly ps3 and being forced to use it as my gaming platform I'm noticing just these little things like this, that I'm really happy with.Comment
