    1) After being away from the Xbox live interface, oh my do I like PS3's soo much better. Not as cluttered and ad riddled as the 360 version is.

    2) Chat message interface is much better on ps3. Its faster and I like how you can send a message in a game yet still see whats going on in back ground.

    3) PS+ is amazing enough said!!

    4) D-pad is so much better on PS3.

Now I had a PS3 for years and years but never really used it very often since I only played my 360. PS3 was just for movies and netflix. Well after selling my xbox and going strictly ps3 and being forced to use it as my gaming platform I'm noticing just these little things like this, that I'm really happy with.
I have a PS3, a Sony laptop, and a Sony Blu-Ray player. And my family has a 46" Sony LCD and a Sony Blu-Ray home theater surround sound system, both of which I had a hand in picking out.

I don't know why I've become so brand loyal like this. I guess it's just that anything I've bought that was Sony has always been quality and worked well.

Only thing I'm brand loyal to is Ford and Panasonic. My family has owned countless Ford's and Mercury's in my lifetime and never had a single problem with any of them. And then Panasonic for plasmas. My dad's first plasma is still going strong and it's about 5 and mine still works great 3 years later. Our old big screen TV's still worked, but you could tell they weren't the same with age.

I guess Compaq for desktops for quite awhile, and then I started building my own PC's.

          Re: Off Topic 2013

On the topic of Sony v Microsoft, I recently purchased the first season of Workaholics on my 360. My plan was to watch it while at work (on a boat with no Internet connection.) Was searching through my videos the other night and apparently it's impossible to view purchased videos on the Xbox without being connected to the Internet. I was already leaning towards playstation for next gen, but this was the proverbial straw. I'm pretty sure PS3 allows that sort of thing as a friend of mine had several movies saved to his hard drive and could watch them with no problem without connection.

My friend in college was good at fixing PC's, but he hating Compaq/HP with a passion. Said they were a royal pain to work with. I have a Compaq laptop and it's a royal pain in the ***

My 1st PC when I started college was an HP Pavillion, but I switched to Dell when I needed a new one and my last 3 have all been Dell.

I guess I'm a Nike loyalist for shoes, but that's only because every time I've gotten a different brand they've either ended up hurting my feet or annoying me in some way (i.e. the tongue would repeatedly slide down into the side of the shoe).

We had Compaq desktops from 97 on. My parents still have a newer machine. Decent enough for a storebought PC.

I guess laptop loyalty is Toshiba. It's all I'll use.

I was never brand loyal with cars, but I'd never own a Chevy. Having worked for a rental company, Chevy vehicles were the worst vehicles. I'll take a Ford every day of the week.

Up has one of the best intros to a movie I've ever seen. In ten minutes they developed not one, but two fantastic characters and it set up the entire movie so well.

My family used to be Pontiac loyalists when it comes to cars then they switched to Ford and now it's whatever they can get their hands on.

I'm not really one for brand loyalty with anything as i've gone with IBM, Compaq, Dell and now HP for my desktop computers. Though when it comes to electronics I tend to favor Sony over other brands.

I honestly don't think there's anything that I am really brand loyal to. But I suppose I haven't really spent enough money on things that lend themselves to brand loyalty.

TV is something I will most likely be brand loyal to. Like I said in the Gears thread, I bought a 32" Samsung LCD for like $350 bucks 4 years ago, and it's been fantastic. My next TV will be a Samsung.

For me it's Jeep/Chevy for cars and HP for computers.
