Re: Off Topic 2013
Went to eat dinner with my parents at Logan's Roadhouse.
I had to send my steak back twice because it was wrong.
I ordered a medium steak and the first time they brought me a well done steak. I cut it and sent it back and waited 15 minutes and they brought me another and it was still bleeding. I sent it back and the third time they brought it, it was finally right ,but still slightly overcooked and I just said it was fine. Manager comped the meal, but I would have rather paid for it and got it right the first damn time.
That's exactly why I rarely order steak. No one can cook a damn steak.Comment

I'd probably have poisoned the third one if I was your waiter.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Off Topic 2013
That's because you ordered a medium steak. Who does that? You order medium rare, because, well, that's what men do. Like you, I rarely order steak when I go out any way, but when I have, I've gotten medium rare quite often, and at worse, I've gotten medium which is good enough at a restaurant. Once or twice it's been closer to rare, but bleeding doesn't bother me and sending it back is liable to get you medium well or worse, which is just unacceptable.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2013
Same here. I will usually eat most anything, and unless they outright brought me the wrong order or forgot something I did order, it's not usually going to bother me. So what I had to take off a few pickles on a burger or something like that. Then again, 1) I rarely go out to eat these days, and 2) it isn't often that something is wrong with my order.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2013
I order medium steaks. I don't mind medium well or medium rare, so it's near impossible to mess up mine. It would either have to be rare or well done, in which case let me back there and cook it myself if you mess it up that badly. Don't send it, do it right.
I think I've only sent food back once, and I was a kid so my dad must've done it. I think it was cheese on a burger or something. Cheeseburgers are gross. SHUTUP YES THEY ARE!
Restaurants have no balls when it comes to customer complaints. Someone can be blatantly taking advantage of the place, and they'd rather comp everything then get a complaint to corporate. It's such crap. That's why I love smaller places, they don't have to worry about catching heat from the bigwigs because of some BS complaint. Some of the complaints I've read or heard about, it's insane what people can get away with.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

When I was 12..or 13? I ordered a lobstertail. When it came to the table it was literally devoid of any meat. Like it was just the cooked exoskeleton of the lobstertail minus any meat. My mom just went ballistic as the waiter questioned if I had eaten it and forgotten lol. Needless to say it was redone, free meal, and my mom got the cook fired. Looking back I have no idea how that could happen.Comment

I always thought I hated cheese, but I always ate tacos, pizza, etc. I still don't like it in mass amounts where it overwhelms the rest of the dish. And certain types of cheese are nasty: American cheese (uh oh maybe Dayman was on to something...), cheez-wiz (THE WORST), provolone, Swiss. Don't want it on my sandwiches at all.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

I hate that walmart is convincing me to buy a PS4 by giving me 20% off. I don't want it.... but I kinda do.
