Apparently this is a national problem. Literally right after seeing your link, I wen to facebook and on my timeline was a news article posted by the Pittsburgh Post Gazette about the same thing occurring here. That article also cites a federal report that says there are more than 25,000 families nationwide living in public housing despite exceeding the income requirements. Really is sad that so many people choose to milk the system like that and take away units from people who actually need them.

People treating the USA like the wild wild west. Sad...Got to the point now I don't even tell people to not do something anymore when they are breaking the law or doing something wrong. Way too many people walking around carrying nowadays.

An enraged Waffle House customer shot and killed a waitress early Friday who asked him not to smoke.

Police said Johnny Mount was eating about 1 a.m. at the restaurant in Biloxi, Mississippi, when he lit a cigarette, reported WLOX-TV.

A waitress asked the 45-year-old Mount to put out the cigarette or smoke outside, and he began arguing with her.

Police said Mount then pulled out a 9 mm handgun he had concealed under his shirt and shot the 52-year-old waitress in the head.

She was taken to a nearby hospital but died from her wounds.

Mount was arrested as he tried to leave the restaurant and has been charged with first-degree murder.

He remains held on $2 million bond.

My friend recently was a manager for a Waffle House in Biloxi. Could have been the same one but there are a lot of Waffle Houses in that area. Pretty crazy! Glad she doesn't work there anymore.

Of course, tax money gonna have to be pissed away to house and feed him in jail for the rest of his life. Just give him his own bullet to the head, throw him in a hole and be done with it.

I actually very strangely believe this as a possibility.

My mom, the kook that she can be with her paranoia of technology's side effects, always feared the wireless router being in my bedroom in our old house because of the amount of "radiation" going through there. Somebody who is hypersensitive enough could theoretically have something like this be poisonous for them. Only I would run extensive tests, and I have a feeling other things like cell phone radiation would be just as bad.

Who would've thunk it?

EDIT: Ah, they mention cell phones in the article. Poor kid, truly a 20th century being.

SECOND EDIT: And she texted a friend before she died? Why does she of all people have a cell phone??

If she was really "allergic to wi-fi", she wouldn't have had a cell phone, that's like a guy allergic to peanuts having a PB&J for lunch every day.

Around 2am on Sunday several police cars rushed to an apartment in the northern suburb of Wollstonecraft, responding to reports of a woman screaming hysterically, a man yelling, “I’m going to kill you, you’re dead”, and furniture being thrown.

A man police described as “out of breath and rather flushed” answered the door and the local area command’s Facebook page documented the exchange that followed.

“Where’s your wife?” an officer asked.

“I don’t have one,” the man replied.

“Where’s your girlfriend?” he pressed.

“I don’t have one,” he said.

Police told the man neighbours had heard the screams, the threats to kill, the dull thud of flung furniture. “Come on mate, what have you done to her?” the officer asked.

“It was a spider,” the man replied sheepishly. “A really big one.”

“What about the woman screaming?”

“Yeah sorry, that was me,” he said. “I really, really hate spiders.”

The commotion was down to the man frantically chasing the spider around his apartment with a can of insect spray, police said.

They inspected the unit just to be sure, finding nobody injured. “Other than the spider,” officers added.

It’s not the first time a spider has sparked alarm. Another arachnophobe set a service station in Michigan on fire in September after he tried to scare a spider away from his petrol tank using a lighter, with predictable results.

Yet another, this one an assistant prosecutor in West Virginia, found himself in hot water in October after pulling a gun and threatening to shoot fake spiders arrayed in his office as Halloween decorations.
