Re: Uncommon Opinions
I never trade in games. I'd rather just keep them - even if they're games I don't play anymore.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
I wish I did that....but as a teen, there was no other option. I miss having some of my older sports games.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
Yeah, I sell old games when I get a good deal like this. I don't have enough room to store old crap, so I'm being more brutal when it comes to this.
I've come to the realization that I'm not going to pop in some 3 year old game no matter how cool it was. That's just me though.
Since it just sits there, why not get cash towards a new game?Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
Maybe its just me but very few new games captures my interest like a lot of the older games I have. A lot of games just seem bland anymore.

Re: Uncommon Opinions
It's been this generation only. Disclaimer: this is only my opinion.
From the 16-Bit era to the PSX/N64 we saw a leap in immersion and storytelling (though much more so on the PSX) because the systems were able to do so much more. PS2/XBox refined that a bit more, but the jump to the PS3/360 came and the quality of the games themselves went downhill while the visual quality kept steadily rising.
I'm hoping that with a move to more PC-like architecture we will see storytelling again become the focus of games. I've been more engrossed by a handful of games on the 3DS than I have by any PS3/360 games out there, and that system looks to just be picking up more steam. In my opinion, it is because there is only so much that you can do graphically that you have to have a great story / gameplay mechanics if you want to truly stand out amongst the crowd. You can't just say "Look at what we can do! Feast your eyes!"
Then again, the PS2 is the best system ever released (game-wise) in my eyes. Being able to play the PS1 library on the system is just a bonus.badComment

I guess my opinion is a little bias because I worked at Gamestop for a year out of high school. Yeah.... not giving them the satisfaction.NFL - Vikings
