Me too. Fresh and I seem to share a lot of likes, but not this time I guess LOL. I have actually LOL'd at some of the scenarios in those commercials.

Here's another one: I don't care for the Metal Gear Solid series, nor the Tomb Raider series (respectfully, but I think Uncharted is better at a similar game).

Loved MGS. Never got into Tomb Raider. hate Hate HATE the Uncharted series.

Not so big a fan of the subsequent ones, but the first one was awesome.

For me, I got both MGS and Tenchu on PSX. MGS went straight back and I loved Tenchu. Preferred it's brand of stealth and ninja stuff

Yea, I shouldn't say series. I loved the first one. The guy that made you use your 2nd controller was the best boss I've ever encountered in a video game.

I had fun w/ the second, just not as much.

Didn't really give the 3rd a chance.

I can't either...or Final Fantasy as well.

I wonder if it has to do with the heavy, heavy, heavy reliance on cutscenes? I don't really want to sit through 20-30 minute cutscenes and some of those games I remember having tons of breaks in gameplay for these (maybe not 20 minutes long, but you get the point).

I can't either...or Final Fantasy as well.

I wonder if it has to do with the heavy, heavy, heavy reliance on cutscenes? I don't really want to sit through 20-30 minute cutscenes and some of those games I remember having tons of breaks in gameplay for these (maybe not 20 minutes long, but you get the point).

That could definitely be it. There was also a huge lack of immersion in those games for me. I can't put my finger on why.

I played one final fantasy. I couldn't fight. Just out commands. Games like that absolutely suck to me. If I'm gonna build a Billy Bad ***, I at least want to use him and not calculate his odds of landing a punch. Why I never got into the Star Wars games on Xbox every body loves.

I can understand that, but I'm the opposite. I love XCOM, Fire Emblem, and other RPG type games.

I do like games where you're more in control, but you do realize Skyrim and whatnot are all based on the same stats for damage and whatnot.

I just still never got into Final Fantasy despite trying 3ish games.

The Metal Gear Solid series is my favorite of all time. I will say that the constant break for cut-scenes can be a drag after you've already run through the game once.
