It's all part of the media machine. I hate when the commentators call him the Greatest Player. Give me a break. For as great as Bron is he needs to act like it on the court. It irks me to see a player with his greatness cry to refs after every layup with slight contact.

When did Aaron Lewis become a country singer? That's like Darius Rocker converting.

I don't listen to the radio so what is "mainstream" and what isn't never really comes into my mindset. Bands I like that I consider country would probably be "alt. country" like:

Ryan Bingham

Hayes Carll
Justin Townes Earle
Loretta Lynn
Lindi Ortega
Tift Merritt
Neko Case
Lucinda Williams
Johnny Cash
The Highwaymen
Waylon
Willie
Garth Brooks (who is just as much a pop act as a country act)
Ryan Adams (depends on the album/band he's playing with)
Ha Ha Tonka
etc.

Huge fan of all the bolded. Especially like Garth (again, he was one of the ones I listened to as a kid), Cash, but I've really been getting into Ryan Bingham and Hayes Carll lately. FT, even though I'm sure you have (we've probably talked about this in the rock thread, don't remember for sure though) you should check out Lucero, Chris Knight, Gary Kyle, 500 Miles to Memphis, Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo, etc... if you haven't.

That's not an opinion, it's just wrong.

If I said tires don't get worn out, I'd be wrong.

I understand tires get worn differently on different wheels but rotating a tire with wear to a different wheel doesn't mean you won't need the missing tread there. Just seems safer to replace wore tires to me than switching them around and hoping for the best.

Front vs. rear tires do wear a lot differently, especially since a lot of cars are front or rear wheel drive.

Tire rotation gets you more life out of your tires. Not all of us can afford to (or even just want to) pay for newer tires earlier than necessary.

Instead of paying to rotate and balance 4 tires, then replacing them later...just let me replace the worn out tire(s) now.
