I'm not sure if this is "uncommon", but satire comedy is the absolute WORST. Sites like The Onion and The Heckler, is nothing but a hack-job. People I follow will retweet their articles, I'll take a look, and then actually wonder how this garbage is in any way "funny", let alone mildly entertaining. It's like....any schmuck out there can be a half-steppin' smart-***.

Some places, yes.

Satire in general? No. That's like saying South Park has no value whatsoever.

Uncommon among my friends here in the US, but F1 is better than Nascar.

As someone who pays no attention to racing, this is something I agree with. While I do enjoy the final half dozen laps of a Nascar race or wreck if I happen to catch one, the technology involved with F1 racing has more appeal to me.

Dude, all South Park is now is satire. I can't remember the last episode that was an original plot and not satire or a parody of something.

Since I don't do brackets, I start watching from the Elite Eight on. Just too much basketball for me in the early rounds involving teams that have little to no chance...

As someone who pays no attention to racing, this is something I agree with. While I do enjoy the final half dozen laps of a Nascar race or wreck if I happen to catch one, the technology involved with F1 racing has more appeal to me.

My biggest problem with F1 is it's so much about the technology that it's not even fun to watch the same three drivers win all the races every year as it seems the technology helps boost the drivers rather than drivers boost the cars(and the same top teams are winning throughout the years). With that being said, I don't think NASCAR guys could go to F1 and win and vice versa(more evidence of F1 -> NASCAR guys busting.)

Sure, F1/road racing is fun as hell to drive in games like iRacing, rFactor, etc., but as something to watch, it's really really boring to me. NASCAR, while boring for 90% of the race, I get more enjoyment from it than F1.

Also, the politics (this may be off-base now, don't keep up with it that much to know about anything behind the scenes) in F1 is pretty annoying, if the Senna doc is anything to go by. I also think blocking is completely fine manuever, don't like it, move him outta the way, but that's going to lead to a whole another debate.

Racing as a whole is one of those sports that is fun as hell to do in a video game or in real life, but watching it, it's incredibly boring.

The only Motorsport I enjoy to actually watch is rally. Probably uncommon around here.

Yeah, and if you mention it people look at you like you're wearing a skirt. Or they convince you you haven't had it cooked right, or haven't found the right steak sauce. No need to force myself to like something more expensive.
