Yes, it was. Tomato soup, roast beef and baked potatoes, and finally blueberry pie and ice-cream.

A weird complaint I got recently, "Birds outside are annoying". Chirping all day starting probably 5am or so.

To me, I've gotten so use to this, it's just natural sounds at this point. For some, they cant think or sleep with that noise, to me it's fine.

Would much rather birds making noise over car horns and people like it is downtown and most busy city area.

birds are alright but we got a neighbor with roosters. luckily I only got to hear them on Sundays and some Saturdays. and dogs are way worse than birds. they cant even hold a tune. unless they're birddogs.

That's the point. People use to the downtown noises find the ones they're not use to like birds chirping to be the annoying noises. Its almost ironic that birds chirping is the annoyance when you're fine with cars honking all day long.

I did not particularly enjoy the newest season of Stranger Things as much as others have. Don't worry I won't spoil anything for those who haven't watched it yet. I'm a 90's kid, so the 80's nostalgia/references just felt a little bit cheesy for me as I didn't grow up with that entertainment. In the first two seasons that stuff felt a little more natural, but this season I felt like they were overdoing it to the point where even in this imaginary universe a lot of stuff felt unrealistic (that may be the wrong word since it is a sci-fi show it's not exactly grounded in realism. Just felt that for some parts they were "making up the rules to the universe" as they went along and sacrificing consistency for flashier action scenes). Still liked some things about the show, but to me Season 1 is miles ahead and this falls closer to Season 2 (which I actually enjoyed more than it seems others did )

Preseasons need to be shortened.

I really dont care much for NBA or nfl preseason at all because it's mostly just the lesser guys trying to get spots. MLB is at least diff since we get to see diff ballparks in Florida so it has a diff feel to the game. And NHL often has good mixes of main roster guys and minor league guys(usually just the top prospects from minors).

Since NFL preseason is coming up, I'll talk about that. Preseason should be 2 weeks. Extend regular season by 3 weeks(2 games, 1 extra bye week), so in the end it's just 1 week longer into the football calendar, but more meaningful games. Even gives preseason meaning since we could see more of the regulars.

Shortening it because the games aren't as meaningful for fans (though it would mean less chances for players to make a case to stay on roster, though those same guys would be playing games vs lesser competition), and instead we'd be having more regular season action, which means more meaningful games.

Shortening it because the games aren't as meaningful for fans (though it would mean less chances for players to make a case to stay on roster, though those same guys would be playing games vs lesser competition), and instead we'd be having more regular season action, which means more meaningful games.

NFL preseason is a vital part of training camp.

If you eliminate two preseason games, teams have to be 100% ready two weeks earlier which means training camp would now not only be longer but would also start earlier.

Not sure if the NFLPA would be a big fan of that unless the compensation makes sense.

The players do not care that we find the fourth preseason game to be completely meaningless.
