    Re: Uncommon Opinions

    My real unpopular MLB opinion:
They should get rid of AL/NL. Especially once the DH arrives in NL. Just have 1 league. MAYBE if they keep AL/NL they could just make teams play vs everyone.

But if its 1 league, maybe 4-6 divisions, 9 others make playoffs (top 2 division winners get a BYE)?

If you want to better market the game, maybe have fans more familiar with all teams? How many AL fans know things about NL teams/players and vice versa.

    Unpopular NFL opinion:
Realign NFL divisions according to their actual geographical name. North teams in north division, east teams in east division and so on.

I could see how going west/east for MLB could be cool. Over time the AL/NL thing isn't really as big a deal as it was.

I think the NFL somewhat tries to do this, but given classical matchups and things it's hard (like the Cowboys in NFC East, it'd kill all those rivalries). The NHL did do this though in their realignment, just don't see NFL ever considering it.

East and west conferences shouldn't happen or else you end up like NHL where they basically only held off on some markets getting a team because of conference imbalance. Even now, Chicago is still considered West because of lack of true west teams.

The 1 advantage MLB has over others in east vs west is that you get weekend games. Friday might be late for East Coast, but Saturday and Sunday would be 4pm or 7pm local starts. Better than some Tuesday 10pm game for east fans, or 4pm Wednesday game for west TV viewers.

NFL styled divisions is best template imo to use, but would be nice if some league actually did that AND had divisions actually follow the geographical names.

But AL/NL should go. Like most things, it'd get hated so much to start, but long term I really see that as a great move for baseball.

Uncommon opinion: the earlier GTAs aren't that good.

Now, now, hear me out: for their time, they were landmarks. I absolutely adore San Andreas but it has little to no replay-ability (for me) because of some terrible controls. I got bored a few days ago and re-installed it on Steam and...almost immediately uninstalled it thereafter. Whoever was in charge of the driving mechanics seriously, and I mean seriously, messed up.

I'll counter this and say the MCU is better than Star Wars.

SW does absolutely nothing for me.

Sadly that's not saying much. Considering Lucas ruined the original trilogy with special editions and blu-ray edits, and the prequels sucked. And the new movies have been mostly just okay on average.

The Star Wars legacy ain't what it used to be, despite the insane fanboyism illustrated by arenas full people screaming in reaction to trailers lol.

Avengers 1 is better by a mile than Infinity War. Better pacing, better story, better action.

It's the handling of the credit card that matters--just never ever carry a balance.

If you're comfortable paying a yearly membership fee, some of those cards have great value for free travel, etc. I pay around $60 a year, but end up with thousands in free travel money/redemption since I put EVERYTHING on my card.

The key is that I make a CC payment 3-4 times a week; I check it daily, and every single time there's a balance, I pay it back down to $0.

So they can be a good tool, when used appropriately.

And add me as an authorized user and give me a card of my own. That way you can build up credit twice as fast!!!
