We had just a small family party, just the 4 of us, so I grilled up 2 slabs of ribs, wings and a steak for the nachos in about 16° temps. I didnt have time for pics between cooking, set up, watching the game and freezing my butt off. But everything turned out great.

Salt and pepper.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Of all the professions, after all, few people are less suited to be suddenly thrown into the public eye than chefs. We're used to doing what we do in private, behind closed doors.Comment

Re: Official OS BBQ/Grilling Thread
Im the same!
As for what to cook it with, Im with Chef Matt (surprise surprise).
A good steak only need S&P. Rarely will I use anything else unless Im cooking it in a pan, then I might use Worcester sauce for flavor and to keep it moist.
Other than that, just a pure slab on a plate is my recipe!Comment

Re: Official OS BBQ/Grilling Thread
I used to be a well done steak guy up until a few years ago.
Parents always frightened me into thinking anything less than well done would probably kill me.
Thankfully I learned differently.
Medium is that sweet spot for me. Anything above that and it's just tough leather.
Plus, I've heard about what cooking too long does to the proteins.Comment

There are many secrets to make the greatest steak. Personally I never do the same thing twice. I always use new seasonings on my steak, but I get really excited about grilling. I really enjoy it. Which why it sucks to live in Nebraska right now.Comment

Re: Official OS BBQ/Grilling Thread
I do that...I don't go 100% well done like charcoal. I try and leave a hint of pink I guess. Just don't like them super pink/bloody. Juices are good, but too rare just doesn't work for me.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
