So somebody dropped off the package with the Chronicles box in it this morning. Not UPS. I presume it was the person they delivered the package to instead of me. So big kudos to this guy, whomever he is.

Then UPS called me and tried to tell me it was delivered yesterday and I just didn't see it. lol. I told them it wasn't and have video proof of it being delivered by the person whom it was wrongly delivered. She's like well ok you got it then. I just hung up.

Anyway, I will let you know what I get tonight when I open it.

So I ripped the box. All three of my autos were Contenders. Deichmann cracked ice to /23. Eli Morgan (best changeup in baseball) /75, and a Connor Seibold to /75.

Also hit a Certified green of Bryan Del La Cruz /5.

So overall not a bad box. I'd say solid would be the term.

I've been buying singles. Because I'm just not that lucky with packs and boxes lol. Picked this up tonight. "Luka the Don"

So I have a question...my brother and I collected cards when we were kids (40 years ago) and I just looked through them and we have maybe 2k of them. Some I know are worth some money (Bird/Johnson/Dr. J small perforated rookie cards, bob feller rookie, etc...) but most are junk.

I don't know anything about cards now so I'd like to pay someone to look through them and evaluate their worth. Are there people out there that do this? Honest ones obviously.

I live in Denver if that helps.

            Thanks

I would look up some local card shops in your area and ask them if they would be willing to do that. I find that in this hobby, there are more honest people than not. Try to maybe go into a shop and get a feel for the person working there or the owner more specifically. I think you will find most of the people in this community are good, honest people.

As poor as my luck is ripping packs, I wish my local Targets and Walmarts actually carried product for me to rip here and there. They are always sold out as people camp out and buy up all the inventory as soon as it hits the shelf.

As a basketball and football fan, I would kill to have just one blaster sitting on the shelves for me lol.

Wow man, that's crazy. I didn't realize people were still doing that.

My Walmart had tons of basketball and Mosaic blasters a couple days ago.

That is a shame, your stores must be somebody's honeypot. I can never find Prizm football, my favorite.

You have a Hobby Lobby near you? When I'm in there looking at the models I notice the one near me has some packs and boxes locked away in the same hobby aisle. They have sales sometimes.

It's certainly just about finding someone that will do it and not charge very much, I do picking services for collectible cards, and my rates are between $30-$80/hour depending on what I'm picking, that said sports cards I'm sure will have a lot more people looking to do picking. I don't have much experience IN Denver, but from my time in the area(bear in mind this was 2014) Grand Slam Sports Cards in Loveland had a service like this.

Also, in my experience as a picker, basically any one you'll find recommended by anyone is honest, while the hobby itself has a lot of dishonesty in it, picking is something you won't be doing for long if you're dishonest about it.

Pulled this from a Stadium Club blaster. I believe it’s a case hit.

Man, I was supposed to get a hobby box of Capstone baseball today and USPS sent it to the wrong post office 30 minutes away. I went to go pick it up and it was a blaster box.

Tried to get ahold of the guy and he isn't returning my messages. I can't believe my luck with this crap. Now I might have to go through eBay to get this fixed.
