It wouldn't quite fit my graded cards though. Still a great deal cheaper than the cardboard storage options, the only drawback being there isn't a lid.

For size comparison, the larger one is about the size of a 550ct cardboard container.

I usually just keep them in my bicycle spokes, especially the autographed cards.

Got back into collecting basketball cards this summer... haven't done since probably 16 years ago (28 now). I find myself obsessed with jersey and auto cards; especially the National Treasure ones.

        Got these today:

I've strayed from card collecting in recent years, but have some pretty good stuff stretched out among NFL, MLB, and NBA.

I have a rookie Justin Verlander, a couple of Clay Matthews (both father and son), Dan Marino, Phil Simms, rookie Ray Allen, Jose Bautista form his Pirate days, and a lot more.

Since we've last met, I've had some time on ebay. Won some, lost some, had to share my lastest action

So while doing my daily searches, found this card

Auto, #/10. Had a low bid, I kept an eye on it.

I see it has no action on it with under an hour to go. I set myself up for a snipe. Under a minute, still under $10. Under 10 seconds still under $10, I make my move at 6 seconds to go, $15 bid.

            Leader

            Not leader

            Lost.

            Winning bid $20.

            Slightly annoyed to be out-sniped

            Would have been a bargain.

Anyone getting Topps Chrome? It apparently dropped today. Two autos per hobby box isn't bad, even though most of the time you will be getting nobodies lol.

I wish I had the money for it at the moment. It's a stacked product. Definitely one of the ones I would have no issue dropping money for a couple boxes of.

Speaking of which once my car gets fixed I have to go see if that dude at the card shop still is "holding" that job. I haven't had the extra cash so I haven't been there in a few months.

Earlier in this thread I posted a pic of my unfinished wall of Phillies autograph, patch, and relic cards in my Phillies man cave. Well, I finally got it finished today after a few months of waiting. What do you guys think? One of the shelves got cut a tad short but I'm not worried about it.

That's bad ***. Brother has been getting into cards again so we've been opening up quite a few packs lately. Any tips for those getting back into things?

                        ebay.

http://www.cardboardconnection.com/ is a good resource for guides and checklists and they provide ebay links to boxes and individual cards.

Looks good! I need to do something like that for my man cave.

Haven't collected cards in ages, 99% of my collection is from the late 80's to mid 90's. Sadly that's around the time card collecting became extremely popular resulting in over production. I take everything out about once or twice a year and have a look and relive some old memories from collecting.

                              Bumping this

Opened 5 packs of Gypsy Queen yesterday. Hit a Wade Boggs jersey 16/25 and a Kyle Seager auto, but the big hit was this. Sorry for the bad picture, but it was a Willie Mays wood mini #4/5.
