Re: Off Topic 2014
Worst medicine for me was this milky liquid antibiotic I had to take after ear surgery in 4th grade. It was so bad I actually gagged on it and refused to take it again. My mom had to call the Dr. and get me a new prescription for something else. The (supposedly) banana-flavored stuff I had to take when I had Strep throat was probably a close 2nd worst.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

Re: Off Topic 2014
Aside from all the money I've been saving, the easier workload, the free breakfast and other benefits I'm probably forgetting, I think the best part of working away from home is that I actually appreciate home a lot more. And selfishly, I feel more appreciated as well. I've already gotten to go home twice and both weekends it's like there almost isn't enough time to do everything I want to.
Before this I've always been the type to daydream about just up and leaving, and of course asking the shortsighted question of "would anyone really even miss me?". It's safe to say that from those two weekends back, and even the first week I left, I got my answer pretty quickly.
I guess the point here is that it's kind of nice to feel excited to go home and actually want to. It's funny because there's even a couple "surprise returns" I plan on making before Christmas and I keep thinking about them when I'm at work.
One is pretty straight forward and simple, and that's just me dropping in to work at home with a bunch of donuts and doing some catching up. One of my buddies from there actually just texted me today to check in on me. He let me know there's some new girls that started and that I'd be "so in", so I guess I'll end up seeing what's good on that front too lol.
The other, which is a hell of a lot more complicated and has me nervously excited, is seeing if I can repair a broken friendship now that it'll be about 4 months since I last seen her. I tried to avoid posting most of what went on with that situation the longer it went on. Although I think the last time I did it was about me having to run back to her house because someone was trying to break in. Well, coincidentally enough at the end of that same week she decided to break things off and it's been a bitch to deal with, albeit less and less each day it seems. Her birthday is on Christmas so I plan on dropping by her work and hoping for the best. If not, oh well.
Anyways, I'm already trying to imagine what things are going to be like in a couple months when I'm back home permanently. By the looks of it so far, things should be better than when I left. The feeling of not living paycheck to paycheck and struggling to get by is pretty damn great. Don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly swimming in money either right now, but being able to spend a little more freely and put a few hundred away at a time into my savings, as well as barely having to pay a bill, feels good. I just hope that things actually do get better when this is all said and done.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Off Topic 2014
Capitol One sent me nothing when my card maxed out and I didn't learn until I tried to buy a car. The worse part was that I had my account set to autodraft and it just magically stopped autodrafting one day. It was my own fault though, I always make sure to pay my CCs now.Comment

Anyone ever watch Twin Peaks? We just started watching on NetFlix a few days ago. I can't tell if it's supposed to be a dark comedy or a serious drama that has some unintentionally hilarious moments. Either way the first few episodes have been decent and I'm interested in seeing how things turn out.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: Off Topic 2014
They got the Santa Claus Parade in Toronto today(one of the bigger/most televised parades in the world I believe). I think this is one of the earliest it's ever aired before USA Thanksgiving, usually it's the Sunday before USA thanksgiving and stuff, but now it's almost 2 weeks before. And it's actually snowing. Ironically these parades rarely have snow.
So starting from today, now most Canadian TV stations will have a pass for being in holiday mode.Comment

Anyway, I told myself that I was going to pick up the series on bluray before watching the rest.

I've always heard a lot of praise for Twin Peaks. Don't know if I'll ever get around to watching it but they're apparently bringing it back.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Went through Taser training today and rode the lightning... Oh my god. That was the worst 5 seconds of my life.
