If you're trying to improve credit don't use best buy since they typically have an high interest rate . A reason why you don't get a better score when you pay off your credit cards every month is because banks are not making money off of you since you are paying off a balance and they aren't making money from interest so why loan your more money right?

None of that has any bearing on credit score.


It has to do with total exposure (limit). The only negative to opening one with BB as mentioned earlier is they are often not willing to offer much of a limit.

The credit score wouldn't improve much if you only add 1k of exposure.

Your post is 100% accurate as to how banks are concerned but things like rate has no bearing on a credit score nor do they care if the bank is not making any money off an individual.

Ok so for Credit Cards do you put a balance on it and wait until the statement to pay it off or does it not matter if I say buy something then make a payment a few days later.

I've had one for a couple of years now to slowly build some credit while in college, but that part always confused me. Never have missed a payment or carried a particular high balance tho.

Yeah I would let it hit the statement then pay it off but if you do that don't let it be more than 10% utilization.

You can pay whenever.

When it comes to credit and exposure there are two different types of debt. Revolving and installment.

Installment is like a mortgage, car payment, student loan, etc... What matters the most with these types of loans is paying on time. Your score can't go down because of percentage of exposure.

Credit cards are revolving. Think of the percentage of your exposure as being the most important thing with the lower the percentage being better.

So if you have a $2500 balance on a 5k credit card, you're at 50%. Keep in mind, that won't hurt your score if you are paying on time, it just won't help it go up. That's what credit is for.

You really can't go too wrong with any stadium in the SEC except Arkansas, and Miss State. I've been everywhere except out to Mizzou, Aggieland, and up to Sakerlina. If my team isn't involved, send me to The Grove.

I don't know how a team in the state if Mississippi does it, but they pull in some of the most beautiful women. It makes no sense at all.


Edit: I learned something new today. Skirt length, when it involves school girls, is a good indicator of age all the way through college students.

As far as credit cards go, I've been told as a general rule to not carry a balance above 30, 35% of your total limit, especially for a while and to pay at least something on time each month.

Don't know how accurate that is but that's what I try to do.

I've gotten a Belkin(sp?) that has held up great and it was only $13.99. No need to go official Apple. Although some third party chargers don't work.

If you have Apple care or still in the 1st year warranty, Apple will replace the cord for free. I've had 5 replaced in my household. You just have to send old cord in when you get your new one and they put a $20 hold on your card until they receive it.

I quit fantasy this year but unless I'm forgetting wasn't the default score for the defense being added in?

Would you not lost that by taking them out?


Every league I ever played in added 10 or 20 points by default and it got subtracted (or added to) from there.

They don't add those points until the game officially starts.
