Does anyone know what time the Closing Ceremonies start at? And what time is it expected to finish by?

My guide says 7:30-9:36 on NBC. Actual time in Russia for it, I have no idea.

Hopefully closing ceremonies are good. Vancouvers was much better than Russia. Though Londons summer olympics ceremonies were better than both.

Just sad. What an absolute waste.

Have the Olympics ever been canceled? The growing number of coronavirus cases have sparked concern for the upcoming 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo.

In Sarajevo's case the bobsled track was eventually used as a bunker in a war. Still not surprised at the more recent Athens and Beijing pics. I can't imagine maintaining a rowing canal would ever yield a profit. Utah was able to do it right. I'm not sure how much they actually had to build, but a lot of it is still used as a training center. I feel bad for the residents of Sochi as I am sure most of this will be abandoned as well. I'm also not surprised the two most expensive Olympics took place where they did.

As for this Olympics, can't wait till summer 2016!

^Olympics are always more fun when time zone is close to your own lol. 2018 Winter Olympics will be near to impossible to watch without spoilers(14 hours ahead of EST).

So a 7pm local time zone game will be airing at 5am in north american east coast! So much for getting to see primetime events at olympics lol, cause surely the results will be spoiled at some point during the day unless you don't go anywhere/don't go on internet.

2016 will be good for reason I said, timezone will be much better! Same reason World Cup will also be good to watch this year especially.
