^They referenced an article posted not too long before then(February 9th), and after today, the exact results that were talked about actually did happen(Russia winning Pair and Team event, setting a world record too. While USA won the ice dance event, breaking a world record which was set like 20 minutes prior by the eventual Silver medal winning Canadians)
Wake me up when the Olympics isn't corrupt.

This is why I don't like figure skating. Any event in which the winner is not based on an objective reality shouldn't be in the Olympics, in my opinion.

I think I would be able to watch a little figure skating if the announcers weren't so snotty and negative. Those snot-nosed annoying-voiced critics ruin any chance of me watching it.

The worst is Weir. Even though he has his better moments. But it's like...dude...you never even medaled at the Olympics. Who the eff are you to be dumping on a performance so much?

Yes, I'm ashamed to post that much about FS.

Nice rain during the slalom skiing competition today... It was interesting because it was snowing at the top, but at the base of the run, it was all-rain. Nasty.

My absolute favorite event is the snowboard cross. The one where its 6 snowboarders racing down the course simultaneously.

It's the best because its the most competitive. These other events are one racer at a time, best time wins. This one is everyone racing the same course at the same time so no excuses. No guesswork here, you hit that line first, no looking at the clock... You won.

I was pissed that I missed the live coverage of that because a guy I grew up with was on the team. He didn't get past his first heat, but I couldn't nail down the time it was actually on because of the delay.

Thoughts on the Female Figure Skating finals last night? My wife thinks Yuna was robbed. But honestly, I can't tell the difference between a good and great performance in figure skating, so I wanted to see what everyone else thought.

I don't think I would ever compete for another country, even if I was good enough to compete there but not here. There's just something that, to me, is completely wrong with that and I don't think that should be legal.
The part of it that seems to be complete crap is South Korea not letting him compete when he clearly is better than anyone they, or any other country have. I do usually find this kinda thing incredibly lame, but South Korea deserved to have it stuck to them. He'd likely be defying age, but I hope he can stick it to them in 4 years when they're hosting.

You know, I don't disagree with this statement at all. As much as I disagree with what Ahn did (I still don't think it should be allowed, you do have a point. S. Korea couldn't find room for him and now he's dominating them for a different country... that is kind of poetic justice.

Any big story lines for tomorrow outside of the hockey bronze medal? I think I am out until 2016 now that the hockey team is out of gold contention.
