Nah, my Mom is a Sunday school teacher, so she probably wouldn't have liked reading about my pooncapades on MySpace back in the day.

I'd so love to have had the conversation with my mom about MySpace "So I noticed you dropped so and so out of your top 8? What's wrong?"

Nah, it's just that my lifestyle is the total opposite of most of my family's is.

I'm friends with all of my family on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. I don't have anything to hide and they know I don't really give a ****.

I don't like knowing my mom follows my Twitter. I swear and occasionally act vulgar. That's not really a side of me I want Mom to see. I'm old as dirt but I still watch my mouth when I'm around her.

Parents + other older people(like aunts/uncles and stuff) I won't ever add on facebook(don't think most if any of them have it anyways lol), but cousins and stuff I won't really mind/care if they see anything I have on facebook.

I don't have anything to hide on my account, but just find it strange if I have like a parent or uncle or aunt as a friend on facebook. Cousins won't be as much, especially the ones around my age or just several years older or younger.

I have a great relationship with everyone in my family so I couldn't care less about being friends with them on social media.

Most of my friends on Facebook are relatives including my mom, a couple aunts, and older cousins in my mom's generation. I don't do much on there though except for commenting/liking other peoples stuff and occasionally sharing something or posting an update.

Most of the people/accounts I follow on twitter are OSers or related to Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh sports, though I follow/am followed by my sister and a bunch of 1st cousins. I really don't care if family members follow/friend me on social networking because it's a good way to stay connected especially with relatives I don't see often.

Twitter I just use my regular username on so nobody even knows it's me(though I occasionally see people I know on twitters "who to follow" screen,though my settings are set so people can't find my twitter based on my email).

Won't get a personal twitter account or anything cause it's not as secure as facebook(meaning if someone google searches your name for a job or something,they can find your twitter account,even if you protect your tweets,they can still at least see you have an account. Facebook they won't have any idea about which account is mine). Not to mention most of my tweets to begin with are just abunch of random things anyways that people I know prob won't care about reading.

Regardless of how secure it may seem I would highly recommend never putting something on social media one way or the other if it's something you think could cost you a job.

I stopped being friends with my dad because I would see all the girls he flirts with. I already accepted he has an affair regularly but I don't have to see the process . Plus he would put annoying comments on my pics, that had to stop

I don't have to even put my name at all either, but still don't really want a personal twitter. The one I have now is good enough. Most people I would want to talk to don't have twitter anyways(they have facebook though so that's mostly why I ever use facebook)
