Is Burger King delivering any different than any pizza/wing place?

I've always wondered why pizza joints were mainly the only source of delivery food outside of major markets. Is it somehow only feasible to hire pizza delivery guys instead of burger/taco/chinese delivery guys? (someone's gonna make a "chinese delivery guy" joke )

Is it because most pizza spots don't have a drive thru? Like that's the convenience factor keeping people from ordering? If people don't feel like getting out of a vehicle to order food, you could one-up them and keep them from leaving their home period. Might, in a small way, help fight drunk driving.

I'd think pizza would be because most of the time you'd be ordering a pizza for a group of people. So it'd be easier to deliver to a house with a group of people. Compared to if you're ordering from mcdonalds/taco bell or something, you might just be ordering for 1-2 people, so it'd be easier for them to go pick it up. Not to mention pizza would be $10-20 or something per pizza while McDonalds/Taco Bell could be $5-$10 in an entire order.

Yeah I forgot about the cooking time for pizza, too. Fast food stuff is usually all set and ready to go out the window but your pizza needs time in the oven.

I wonder if the Little Caesars hot n ready plan is gonna catch on and/or expand

I could see that if the weather sucks. Or as is the case with my friend in NY, her apt is several stories up and she doesn't have an elevator, so she drags her *** home from work, realizes she doesn't have any appealing food options in the fridge, and orders some cheap **** for delivery just so she doesn't have to leave home again that night.

Most places just have a delivery minimum.

The Chinese place here has a $20 minimum, the pizza place I grab has different minimums depending on how far away you live.

I'd go through $15 of food from McDonald's if they delivered. That's a bunch of burgers, mcchickens and fries and I'd happily eat them all.

It amazes me that people actually use iTunes. Never used it on my computer, never use it on my phone. Had alternate media players/apps. iTunes BLOWS.

It's like using IE instead of Firefox or Chrome. So noobish.

Fired up Twisted Metal 2 on the PS3 yesterday for about 10 minutes. I forgot how hilarious the game was and how terrible it is trying to use the d-pad.
