    On the topic of Family Guy...The first few seasons were great. Once show got cancelled it started going downhill in quality big time. Got to the point where a number of years ago I just gave up on the show, now I won't even bother watching old episodes of the show anymore either. Old episodes I still would enjoy, but the newer stuff just turned me off of the show.

    As much as Simpsons today quality isn't nowhere near as good as in the past, I still find it watchable(not so much "re-watchable" where I'd watch reruns of it again),but obviously can enjoy the past episodes all the time still.

        Simpsons isn't bad at all when you consider how many seasons they've been on the air, with the same main characters. It's not something I watch regularly at all, but the newer episodes I've seen have been pretty clever. Plus, I feel like the writing and continuity is way more polished and enjoyable than Family Guy . It feels more like a finished product/story. FG is often more fragmented, which was fine back when the tangents were genuinely original and funny.

            The Off Topic: 2014 thread had 8000+ posts by this time last year compared to barely 4000 posts now.

                    I started up Parks and Rec again and have been dying. Tom with the abstract art is hilarious.

                            ESPN covering the Special Olymics as they have this year is awesome. When they could have thrown up some bull**** poker, bowling, or trick shot pool tournament, they actually throw up something worth putting on tv.

                            Its especially cool that some of the people working for ESPN requested to work the event.

                                        I wish more people tuned in for that type of show. I'd laugh my *** off and then check the ratings and get mad about how low they were.
