Has anyone on here had to replace the backlight on their laptop? If so, how hard was it? My screen on my laptop is dead, and since I can see it barely if I shine a flashlight on it, it seems the backlight has died. I have no experience in messing with a laptop screen so I am wondering how hard it is. It still works hooked up to my TV so I am doing that for now.

I only shop at Wegmans in the Suburbs, everyone is pleasant.

They should allow us to put a leash on some of these customers and escort them through that store so they don't mess anything up.

I only shop at Wegmans in the Suburbs, everyone is pleasant.

There was this one case of many at our store.

This dude would send his children in the fill a shopping cart up and walk out the door with it. Well we caught on and when he pulled into the parking lot we waiting for his children to fill up the cart and walk out the door. I was there waiting and told them they need to pay for it and if they didn't have the money they need to leave the cart and go. They left.

Shortly after their father comes storming in cussing me out saying how I'm racist and his children were there to get the groceries since he was hurt and showed me the money he apparently gave the kids. (He looked fine) I told him the situation and he then proceed to grab the cart I had and push it into me which I then clenched my fist.

My manager must of been watching the whole thing because he came in and intervened. He also apparently called the cops as soon as the dude pulled in just in case. Well then he was blowing up at our manager not knowing the cops were coming and when he seen them he started freaking out. Started saying that he can't go to jail because it's only him and his kids and without him they got nothing, etc.

Well the cops asked my manager if we were going to pursue the case or not and my manager asked me. I said we are. The dude started apologizing to me frantically and I told him I don't care. He came into the store, started cussing me out then ran the cart into me. Anything I had feeling bad for him went out the window after that.

I haven't seen him back since but apparently it was his 3rd time on a shop lifting charge and that a automatic jail time. Plus he got assault for pushing the cart into me.

This is just one of the stories in this store.

I work in customer service as well (Parks and Rec) and it is never ceases to amaze me just how many adults refuse to follow simple rules and instructions.

They can't (or just refuse to) see the bigger picture as to why we don't allow certain things and think we should make an exception for them.

Working in a grocery store is awesome. Especially in produce. Having to go through all the moldy fruit and **** each day. Having to pick up all the blueberries that people drop all over the floor. It's fun.

And then you get the crazy people asking for organic or gluten-free **** that we don't have, and throwing a fit when we tell them we don't have it.

I have to disagree with Candy, though, most of the people that come into our store are pretty nice and friendly. You get a lot of eye candy, too, which doesn't hurt at all.

But damnit do I want to get out of here lol.

One lady sticks out to me more than anyone else because it's the only time I haven't been able to control a laugh in front of a customer. She was polite and everything, pretty, probably close to 30, maybe a few years over. I answered a few of her basic questions, then she asks what meats come on the veggie sandwich. I instantly let out a little laugh and she just stared at me blankly. I explained to her that it is just a vegetable sandwich with veggies of her choosing and she remained polite and was a great customer, but the question, I'll never forget it.

Reading it makes me realize it was a lot funnier being there and actually being asked the question.

I guess since he ran into me with the one I had the cop added that on.

Another customer we used to have as a regular was nick named legs. He walked with a limp and was one evil bastard. He would walk up the aisle and then instead of turning around or keep going he would back up after he go down the aisle and cuss at people being behind him.

He smelled like ***, ate dog and cat food and was just a overall nasty person.

Then the last time he was in our store he shat his self and didn't go to the bathroom. He just walked around the whole store dragging poop behind him and we had to clean it up.

He was finally banned from the store.
