Have any rice? Seal it in a container with a bunch of rice overnight at least and it'll pull the water out from the inside. If nothing actually shorted out you may be good to go.

Has anybody used the WISH or GEEK app?

Its on the iphone app store. Not sure about android.

Are they legit? Client just told me a little bit about it saying that you get your stuff from China. That since China bootlegs everything, they produce the same "high quality" products but its sold on the App for super discounted prices compared to the real thing.

If you could share any experience any of you've had with it, that'd be great.

It's funny you brought that Wish app up - Never heard of it until the other day when my wife called me on Monday all excited that she found some dresses, a phone case and some other stuff for like $50 on this great new app.

She likes to just dive into things without doing any research. As soon as we got off the phone I looked up some stuff on Wish and 95% of the reviews and comments were horrible. Slow service, items weren't as advertised, some people never got their items and can't seem to reach anyone to get a refund.

With that said, all of her items except one have already shipped. I'll let you know how "cheap" they seem once (if she receives them) get them in.

Thats what I was worried about.

Im surprised you saw that many bad reviews when you researched because the iphone store reviews are pretty positive.

My client said shes gotten clothes and bathing suits off of there and hasnt had any trouble with it. She said the only thing is it does take a long time to get your stuff...but its coming from China. So...lol

 Just got my phone back from the shop – No damage and only cost me $27 bucks. I guess pulling it right out and taking the sim, sd, spen and battery out ASAP helped and of course I didn’t try to turn it on. He said wasn’t much moisture at all. They gave it a “bath” and everything works normal. Battery, sim card and SD all work. I got very lucky.

I've got some experience with sites like that. Seems to be an influx of them of late.

A lot don't hold inventory, so when customers order, that exact number is relayed to the manufacturer and the order is fulfilled. That's the delay time in receiving your products, but also a big reason why the price is so cheap (less overhead costs for the "middleman").

There's tons of reviews, mostly negative, about all of these sites. Cheap stuff, obviously messed up in some way, etc. But there's plenty of happy customers too.

My advice: use sparingly. If you're ordering all the time, chances are you'll get some duds.

They all do run great deals, though.
