Apparently, the "reason" they did it is because two of their teammates had been ejected earlier.
They should absolutely go to jail. I believe it was Mike Pereira that said the team should also have their season forfeited.Boston Red Sox

Back to school for kids tomorrow. Even though this day doesn't mean anything to me anymore, still think back on past 1st days and how much i hated it lol
Some new people,figuring out if you like or hate your new teacher,trying to get early dibs on best seats for you and your friends(if teacher didnt assign stupid seating plans),having to write about what you did over the summer and so on.
And HS years,figuring out where your classes even are cause every year,seemed like your schedule had you in classroom you hadn't been in past semesters. And on the other end of school,so it'd take 5 mins just to get to your next class,without any stops inbetween.
On plus side,1st days were throwaway days. First week for most part was throwaway.Comment

It's weird that I first joined this site when I was a high school freshman, and now I'm teaching high schoolers.

For me,lockers were always assigned based on what class you had 1st everyday. Some were good locations,others sucked cause they were in busy part of school where people just feel the need to sit right infront of lockers for 20 minutes randomly.
I liked ones near side entrances in my school,cause if i get there during announcements, i can sneak to my locker and get everything without teacher or principal forcing me to stop,cause school had stupid "no walking in halls during announcements" rule,so if you got caught,you're basically late now. And by end of day,you could get out so much easier than navigating through hundreds of people all using the same exit doors.Comment
