Re: Off Topic 2015
There was a discussion somewhere (maybe this thread...cannot remember) about the greatest game soundtrack.
NBA Live 1999 beats (pun!) any game, bar none.
One particular favorite:

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
I know I don't post in here much, but an update on my injury.
I started thinking, it was weird the surgeon said I didn't need any physical therapy, so I emailed my son's t ball coach who is a physical therapist and asked him for his opinion. He told me to come by as they do free screenings. Went by and he said my range of motion is extremely good for this injury and I could actually go back to running if my leg was strong enough. He said I definitely need some physical therapy though. So I will be starting that up soon. He was really suprised the surgeon didn't refer me because they get a lot of patients from him. Said he thought he was the best in the area.
In the last five days I have gone from using one crutch to walking. I have a limp, but it's not horrible. It's sometimes a bit painful and awkward, but nothing too bad. If I feel like I am over doing it I just go back to one crutch.
A week ago I thought there was no way I would walk into my next doctors appointment like my surgeon said 4 weeks ago at my last appointment, now with two weeks before I go back, I will be walking into his office.
It feels good, but I still got a ways to go before I am 100%Comment

My doctor, supposedly the best orthopedic doctor @ Wake Forest, didn't offer any physical therapy either. I researched and figured out a few things to do to help strengthen me after my cast came off (broke my right ankle).
One exercise I still do is...
bend down to a semi sitting position and hold one leg up in the air. Really builds stability in the ankle. That's the best thing I found thru my research (YouTube, no less).Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Seriously though, for me, MVP NCAA Baseball 06 is way up there. Most FIFA games I have no problem putting up there, 11 was probably my favorite (it was the first I owned so...) but 12 and 13 are up there as well. 15 is pretty good too.
I always liked NCAA Football 10, with just fight songs on loop. Loved that.
EDIT: I forgot! In addition to Heavy (which is actually a really good song) there was this awful techno song that also played on loop in NHL 01. Can't remember what it was though.Last edited by mb625; 11-30-2015, 01:26 AM.MLB: Minnesota Twins

Re: Off Topic 2015
I think I said this in the discussion last time, but the answer is any Tony Hawk game.

Madden 04 and 05 had amazing *** soundtracks. The recent NBA2k ones have been good, but nothing tops Madden 04/05 for me.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
The MVP's, 03-06 Madden, and THPS.
I remember some Motocross game I had on N64 had The Offspring's "Genocide" playing for the opening theme. Not sure if there were vocals but just to have a licensed song back in those days (on cartridge systems) was a trip. We've come a long way.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: Off Topic 2015
I don't listen to sports games anymore outside of 2K. I usually have music on have something else on on the other TV. Only because I think most soundtracks are garbage more times than not.
No soundtrack has been better than (I believe it was) Madden 2004
