    Yeah that 1,600 number in your first post seemed way too low for a maintenance. My bulking cals always started around the 2,800 range.

      Well I am back healthy again.


      Ran 13.5 miles on the treadmill last night. Just wanted to see if I could do it. Big difference between that and actually running on the road by it was good to know for peace of mind.


      This afternoon, I will need to start P90x over since I haven't done anything for two solid weeks from being sick.

        You're a brave soul running that many miles on a treadmill! Congrats on going that far ... impressive!

            Just curious what kinds of vitamins do you guys take?

            I want some real potent vitamins but its hard to figure out whats what

              The only supplement I take is fish oil. I may start taking a multi-vitamin again as I'll be traveling more for work and know I won't be eating as well as I do at home (not by choice but due to limited options), so that will hopefully offset some of the dietary changes.

                I used to take a multi-vitamin I got from the Vitamin Shoppe (recommended). If I'm purposely doing more liquid (water, green tea, smoothies... don't really juice) I'll take them. But other than that, I try to get all of that in the food I choose. Usually relying on the pills to get nutrients ends up with you taking in way more than you need which is unnecessary and sometimes bad for you. I'd say a one or two a day multi-vitamin is probably all you really need.

                Adding something like fish oil or flax-seed is good but that's not really vitamins.

                  Yeah its not but i think i need a good multi man because my diet is up and down and sometimes i don't eat til late afternoon which is a no no. I think i ended up gaining a few pounds by my schedule being like it is and timing of my meals.

                    When I get home to check, I'll tell you exactly what I have. But I just went to the Vitamin Shoppe and asked the guy to recommend something... situation similar to yours. Wanted something specifically for men to deal with not having a great diet daily, that I could take no more than 2 pills a day (preferably just one).

                              Just finished my 24 Week Rushfit Regimen this morning. I did Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Program. Lost 64 lbs.

                              First time I have seen my abs. It not a perfect six pack yet. But I can see my upper and middle abs. I'm pretty excited about it. Not bad for an old man.

                              Monday I am starting this for eight weeks...
