    I love going to the gym at 6:45 am on a Saturday morning, hardly anyone in at that hour.

    I've lacked motivation the last few weeks, I gained 4lbs, so, now I'm peod and I know I will focus much better than the prior 2 weeks.

    My weight loss leader literally kicked my rear in front of everyone and in private. I'm glad she did.

    Goal is 25lbs off from now till the end of July.

      Got in an 8-mile run today, even with a steady snowfall (isn't sticking to the road yet). It was actually a lot of fun and kind of peaceful to be running in these conditions.

      Finished in 1:15.30. Wound up getting close to 25 miles in this week and an additional 16 miles in on my bike.

      I skipped a weight training workout this week, so I need to be better about neglecting that area of my fitness routine.

      Still, a good week and based on the weather forecasts, will be commuting to work via bike at least once next week.

          Missed my 6 mile run today. Got up tired and battled a headache all day. Drinking an orange ginger beer right now which is helping

          Tomorrow is now my 6 mile run. Need to lift more this coming week so I may stick with running every other day at 4 miles.

            been sick since the start of 2015 and today i forced myself to go. Was still able to curl 80 and do tricep extensions of 80. i thought i would've been weakened but glad to see it was still there.

                Only ran 11 miles this week. Did 3 miles today. Honestly, I absolutely HATE running long distance!!! I was suppose to run 6 miles yesterday and 4 today. In the end, I only ran 3 this weekend.

                Going to lift and do P90x tomorrow. It is what it is!! I'm just not a runner but I will work it in during the week. If I run 12 minute miles during the half marathon then so be it. I would rather build muscle then look like a tooth pick anyways

                  Curious, if you dislike long-distance running, why are you doing a half-marathon? That's a really long way to run if you're not into running.

                    Peer pressure by a friend who ran the marine corps full marathon. I will get it done but not without kicking and screaming lol.

                      Spent 5 days stuck on the ship underway and the in-port duty so I ate pretty bad and even drank a few sodas, but I went straight to the gym when I came off duty this morning.

                      I did my usual upper body routine and started implementing dumbell presses again like I did a few years ago. I also did a few small legs things like calf raises. Did about 15 minutes of cardio and then shot hoops with a few friends... nothing crazy.

                      I don't feel as guilty about the past 5 days now. It's back to work tomorrow. I'm trying to cut out and hit the gym during lunch.

                        P90x is still amazing! Picked up P90x3 for the days I need to knock out a 30 minute workout instead of an hour.

                          Got in a 5-mile run on my lunch break at work today. Finished right at 45 min., which I was really happy with, as that's about 10-15 sec. faster than my normal per mile pace.

                            Went to work out on my lunch and then someone asked me if I wanted to go to the small gym by the barracks after work and I said yeah.

                            So for the first time in years, I went to the gym twice in one day.. lol.

                            I feel pretty good about it, considering we have Command PT in the morning.

                            I'm sacrificing a little gaming/tv time, but I think 6 months from now I'll be thanking myself.

                              Good work! Those sacrifices will definitely be worth it. I typically take my lunch break to get some gaming in on my 3DS or Vita, but I've decided now when it's nice outside, I'm going to get out and go for a run. It's a better use of my time.
