Also getting all of the dogs to sit still like that was nothing short of a Christmas miracle. Getting all four dogs to sit still and look at the camera all at once was quite the task.... but my wife was going to get that picture or die trying. lol
Luckily it worked out. She had some Christmas cards made with us and the dogs too. I'll post those as soon as soon as she puts them on Facebook.
If you mean the pic of my tree with the elf on it, I took that pic when the lights weren't plugged in.

She hasn't noticed so far, so I'm hoping I'm good.

I still got no idea what those elf things are,but each new pic,it just looks creepy to me lol.

And I was going through some old presents(aka things people gave me in years past that I never really cared much for/never bothered opening) and decided to just look up their actual value. Surprised to see some of the things I got, while they might have been cheaper when someone did buy it for me,it actually jumped up alot in value. It's still in perfect condition/box never opened or taken plastic wrap off it.

And this probably sounds way to obvious but, shopping around for stuff to get kids is much more fun than for adults. So many diff toys to look at and choose out for them. Adults,it's much more plain, and tempting to just go to the generic gifts like box of cookies, giftcards ect. Kids, you actually have to put thought into it.

Elf on the Shelf is a toy that comes with a book about it's back story. Basically the child names the elf and every night it returns to the North Pole to tell Santa if they have been good or bad. In the morning, it's like Toy Story, when the child wakes up ther freeze doing whatever they were up to. That's where the pictures come from.
I am the lesson after the fall.

Anyone got good gift ideas for kids? Boys and Girls.

They're too old for action figures and stuff, and I don't wanna get video games or anything either(not knowing what system they got/if they even got specific consoles).

Girl wise, best I can think of is something Frozen related since it seems like every little girl is in love with that movie. Boy wise,I looked at so many things, most seem to just have figurines, building toys things(like lego, call of duty ships ect.), or nerf guns(which I still wouldn't mind getting, but have a feeling they prob have something like that already).

That's the hard part too, trying to get something that would at least be of use, even if for just a few weeks or months. Board games I thought of too,but I'm know they got an entire shelf of nothing but board games.

Past years I've posted pics of our big 12 ft tree we put up, but this year it's not making it up due to various reasons, but I did put up my smaller tree that goes in my game room and a Christmas village around it.

Any idea for small/cheap presents for co-workers? I work on a small, close-knit team so I'm actually happy to get something for them. I got some fancy organic chocolate (I work with some health nuts) last year. Any decent ideas for around 5-7 bucks a pop?

Depends on who they are. I work with a bunch of corrupted women that still drink like they are in college sometimes so wine and candy are gotos.

I saw the pictures of your entire game room, plus these. Absolutely beautiful. The Star Wars memorabilia is outstanding and the entire set up is phenomenal.
