What the **** is going on anymore?

We can sit here & try to be 'nice' to these groups, but that isn't going to make them suddenly like us.
At this rate they will win this war because they are willing to do anything to win.
At the same time, we are not willing to do what it takes because we don't have the stomach* for it.

Man, you guys are lucky. I actually work with my wife, so imagine how much time in my day is spent just waiting on her.

I wait on her to get ready in the morning, wait on her to go to lunch (although I only go to lunch with her 2-3 times a week), wait on her to get ready to go back to work from lunch, wait on her to leave work at the end of the day.

I really think that "come on, babe" and "we've got to go" are the two phrases that I say the most during the week.

I mind my business by sitting on the couch and keeping my mouth shut. If she wants to take forever to get ready, fine. Just means more time to myself without having to answer questions or be told such and such needs to be done.

The thing that bugs me is when I ask what she wants to eat and which establishment would she like to do that at. Never knows what she wants or where to go, then when we do go someplace she never fully seems satisfied with our choice. Maaaaaaan, listen.

My girlfriend doesn't take too long getting ready if we're just going for a typical night out. And if it's something that involves more preparation than usual, she just starts early.

This is the one that gets me. If we're going out to eat, she'll ask me where I want to eat, which usually elicits the response, "Idc, you pick." And that's because I genuinely don't care and will eat anywhere.

She'll say she doesn't know, so I have to start throwing suggestions out there, and she'll keep shooting them down until I say one she wants to go to.

And don't even get me started on ordering food once we get there. Possibly the most indecisive person I've ever met.

May I ask where you work?

It's an office job for a electrical and instrumentation company. We both work in the same department (accounting), but we don't work together. She's the payroll supervisor and I handle all of the accounting for our jobs in Arizona and some of our jobs in California.

Her office is a few hallways away from mine so it's not like we're working together all day. Really the only work interactions I have with her are turning in my employees timesheets once a week and if I need something FedEx'ed.
