i work at a summer camp. some kids at work said i looked like john cena. i dont know if that a compliment or not - but i know i dont have his muscles haha.
this is both a good and bad time honestly. im leaving for clemson in thirty days; im a sports communications major (which is super cool).
but my favorite person (grandfather) also just passed away due to kidney failure.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Damn near had a heart attack last night. Someone was banging on our door at about 1am. The dogs were going berserk.
I armed myself with a nearby fork before tossing it to my wife and grabbing my baseball bat. Transitioned in to pure adrenaline mode, ready for the craziest scenarios.
Turns out, someone across the street was dog/house sitting and locked themselves out late night. Crisis averted.

Re: Off Topic: Señor Millennium - Prepare the Battlefield... For A Masacaaaah
I guess I like having a Smartphone for the exact reasons you would dislike having one, in a way.
I like always being connected and being able to do pretty much anything wherever I happen to be. It's convenient in that, I don't need to rely on transporting my camera or my laptop or whatever else, and since you don't always know ahead of time whether you will need those things when you're out and about, it's nice knowing that I don't have to think about it.
I'm older and have a smartphone and it's nice when I need it.
My issue is when you are at someone's house, a relative or friends house, and one person has the smartphone out and not part of the conversation because they are in their own world.
I've noticed it happens in our family and I'm sure it happens in other families too.
I know my dad once commented what the hell are they doing and he was talking about his grand daughter and boyfriend. I mentioned it to our daughter and she said they were just looking up sales online. I'm like, really, that can't wait?
oops, this should go into pet peeves, lol.Comment

Yeah, I think that has more to do with manners than the Smartphones themselves though. Obviously their convenience helps to facilitate that kind of thing though. People just need to be more aware of their surroundings in general when it comes to being on their phone.----------------------

I shant speak of the "good ol' days" of being a kid since for me it was only in the nineties, but even if our way of hanging out with friends was playing video games or watching TV, at least we interacted with the same thing together and had conversations.
Nowadays, it seems that whenever I catch two friends next two each other, they are normally sitting down on their phones, silently. It's very strange. I mean I get it, they are attached to their phones. This is something I don't want to have an addiction for, because I could easily fall into the same trap.
I meant to state that I also have my Vita. I decided not to ever get the 3G Vita for the exact same reasons of not wanting to be attached to it and/or paying more every month for data.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I told this story before but my dad and I were able to go back to college about three years ago and to the same college I attended. We were helping our daughter move around with a broken ankle.
In between classes, most of the students had their heads down looking at their phones. The time I attended college, we were always looking around to find out if our friends were around the same area. Hey, are you going to the party Thursday night. Nah, I need to study for an exam.
It appears now, most of the that social interaction is via text.
That's the changing technology world we are living in. It might be something different a decade from now.Comment

This.

Why do most of button-down shirts have a bottom button with no slit for it? Some of my collared shirts don't feature this, but many of them do. Always makes me want to tuck it in.
It would be one thing if it doesn't work well with buttoning that low down the shirt or something, but then why is a button there? That's where I'm confused.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment
