So after the discussion in the NFL forum about Lax and it's popularity. I have started to follow it more. And mostly the Syracuse program. So I have watched their first 2 games this season. And they have mentioned a couple of times that it's the program's 100th anniversary. And they have only had THREE coaches in that time frame. If that doesn't speak to quality of that program I don't what does.

Syracuse is definitely a historically great program. John Desko is a great coach, and they're annual contenders. Johns Hopkins has been one of the great lacrosse programs in the sport's history, though in the past few years they've fallen off a bit.

With the spread of the sport, you see teams like Denver and Notre Dame having a lot of success. They've both been good for a while, but the past few years they've been consistent top 3 teams that regularly make it to at least the semifinals, and often the championship. Duke is also one of the better programs of the last decade, and UNC has been hovering around the top for a while now too.

Much like the University of Texas' baseball team. Since 1910, they've only had 4 full-time head coaches. They had a guy that lasted for only 3 years, but he was the interim because the main guy went to fight in World War II but came back and coached until 1969.

It's one of the reasons why I love the Steelers organization. I love coaching tradition. Duke is another good example. I hate seeing coaches jettisoned every few years.

I went to the Louisville Arcade Expo over the weekend. Nothing like a trip down memory lane. Playing old arcade classics like Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr, Frogger, PaperBoy, Asteroids, just to name a few. And then playing the old Atari, Jaguar, 32X, and other consoles.

Ahh well worth the price of admission.

I still have a working Sega 32X. I had all of like 2 or 3 games for it. I think my dad found it on sale at the mall or something in 96-97.
