Just bought the scooby doo mystery machine on Amazon. Figured I'd give that to the kids for Halloween. It's discontinued and I doubt they will go after that license again.

Just made out like a bandit. My local grocery store sells lego and they were running a special where if you spent 100 on toys you got 20 off. Krennics shuttle was marked down to 71.99 so I added the hover tank for 29.99 which brought my total to 101.98 then 20 off down to 81.98 then I had an 11 dollar reward coupon and 5 off any lego purchases over 50 so grand total 65.98 for krennics shuttle and the hover tank.

Here's some more of my Star Wars collection. I have a shelf dedicated to Tatooine themed sets.

Pretty fun sets. And I've attached an image of the whole shelf at once.

How do you dust all that?

Ashleigh actually has Jabba's Palace still in the box. She heard it was being taken off the shelves so she bought it to "save." I'm not sure if its worth anything or not.

It's not easy to dust, I've only had to do it once so far. I used compressed air.

Jabba's palace is cool, especially if you have the pit underneath it. It hasn't increased in value that much which is surprising. Lego is releasing a new skiff next year, so that might build the interest up some. The only sets I have unopened is the UCS Batman Tumbler and because of an ordering issue, a second Jabba's Sail Barge. I'm hoping I can sell the Sail Barge sometime next year when the new skiff comes out. With Disney saying no to Leia and the gold bikini, I wonder if that will help the Sail Barge price if they won't allow Lego to release another Leia that way.

Beatles Yellow Submarine releases tomorrow! Grabbing that on my way home from work from The Lego Store.

Got my holiday train all put together. Still need to get the Winter Toy Shop set and Santa's Workshop set put together.

Man, this thread is gonna get me into some big-time trouble...

I think I've decided to tackle a bigger set in the near future. Leaning toward the Simpsons' House just for something fun and that the kids can play with a bit. Just gotta figure out how to explain the bill to my wife.

Man. That is awesome. I bought this year's Christmas train and last year's Santa's workshop for my daughter for Christmas this year. She really started getting into Legos this year so I didn't know about the previous holiday Legos. I love what you did because I wanted to put together a Christmas town for her. Think our train will go around the tree though but we'll see.

Here's my shelf in my classroom. I have to add the Imperial Shuttle I just built to it soon.

Back at my parents house are all of my old legos. When my little cousins are over when I'm back visiting, that's our go-to pastime. One of my greatest Xmas gifts ever as a kid was the Monorail set.
Monorail was my favorite LEGO set of all time. Had the city one. Still remember seeing that under the Christmas tree when I was a kid.

Still have all my LEGOs at my parent's house. And all the instruction guides since they are broken down in large containers. Lol. Had city mostly but also Knights and pirates. Not too many space ones. Loved the city sets.

When I was a kid I was all about the castle sets, had tons of knights and horses. I recently got an old plastic bin from my mom where she kept all my old ones. I remember having a train that ran on batteries, that was always my favorite. It was in the bin along with a lot of castle pieces and quite a few red and blue blocks which I'm sure where fire and police stations.

I'm still working on my Christmas village. I really want to have the tunnel for my train to go through completed this year. Here's my progress so far. I ran out of sloped pieces, so I'll have to order some more. I do have some pieces to build a ski slope for one side of the tunnel mountain, so I'll work on that in the meantime. I have this big side of the mountain that I needed to do something with, so I built my Star Wars Wampa cave into it, lol. It actually looks pretty cool. On top of the mountain will be the North Pole where I'll put the Santa's Workshop set.
