Phil Hartman and Sinbad save that movie.

The only christmas movie from the past 15 years that I will seek out somewhat is Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds.

I'm usually listening to more music than watching movies and television anyway. Brian Setzer Orchestra seems to get the most spins from me. James Brown and Stevie Wonder for Christmas are underrated. Sharon Jones is always a staple ever since she released "Ain't No Chimneys in the Projects." Mariah obviously. Ella, Count Basie, Nat, and Bing are so damn smooth. Vince Guaraldi Trio, too. She & Him and Chet Atkins for soft listening and Trans-Siberian Orchestra when you want to truly jingle bell rock. Jackson 5 gets a couple spins before becoming annoying.
Phil Spector's Christmas album ("A Christmas Gift for You") on infinite loop is all I need for the month of December.

I was just looking at my fantasy sports history (kinda spotty if I’m being honest), and I realized... I’ve been playing for over half my life (14/27).

Haven’t missed a year. It’s my longest relationship. Oh no.

I've been playing in my baseball and one of my football league for 10-12 years now. I enjoy it, I'm watching most of the games anyway .

Yeah, funnily I was once talking about fantasy football to a class of mostly freshmen, thinking "no way they play fantasy sports." Then I immediately stopped myself when I realized I started doing fantasy baseball in sixth grade!

I think I missed out on some years when I was disappointed that Smallworld was bought out by The Sporting News and it changed the FB landscape, but then I started to get into Yahoo with drafting, and then I added football into the mix... and that's all she wrote.

29 years old now, started when I was 11. May have had a lost year or two though, so swimming somewhere near 60% of my life.

I once heard Karl Ravech hate on fantasy baseball because it brings illegitimacy to the fanbase for the sport (no purists), but I have come to realize that fantasy sports makes me watch more games than less, and also helps justify my subscriptions purchases (MLB.TV, NFL Sunday Ticket, etc.).

For those who use Firefox, anyone having issues with it ever since the big update they had a few weeks back?

I find some things load so much slower than they ever have before. And a number of webpages never seem to open for me anymore. Don't know if this is just because of the firefox update or some bigger issue.

I wonder if it could be my anti-virus as well, but I disabled it and nothing has changed, so I have no idea why certain sites just don't open anymore. It's not like an entire site won't work, but some links within a site might not work while others work just fine.

Doing a little car browsing, thinking about getting a new one soon (maybe).

Is it just me, or are current/future sedans appearing much more hatchback-like in the back than before? For example:

That's maybe a more extreme example, but I even looked up potential 2020 model cars and such, and many don't seem to slim down much in the back.

I think it's just because they kind of just curve to the rear and never have a point of inflection (all convex, nothing concave). Not sure if I like the look much, but I don't think I can expect it changing any time soon so maybe I just go with where we're headed instead of looking in the past.

Honda's site lists that car as a hatchback.

Thanks. I just Google-imaged certain Hondas and that popped up as an image. Though now that you've mentioned that, I went to the link for that site and it turns out it was a "Sedan vs. Hatchback comparison" article, heh.

No wonder it was so extreme.

Even still, there is a stark difference between cars today and cars of yore when it comes to the rear, something that is a little more hatchback-like.

I think other companies still have a definitive sedan "rear," but Hondas have been looking like space coupes since the mid-2000s.
